The size of the room was good
There was a noise that was continuous especially on a windy or rainy day. You have to go up a lift to go to the hotel reception and they seemed too busy to be attentive enough
The hotel spans from the 54th to 85th floor of a tower. We got a room on the 80th floor. From it we had excellent views to the whole city. The room was big, very clean. We could operate the lights and curtains from the bed. The bathroom had Balmain soap, conditioner and shampoo. The hotel is located in the financial district of the city, it was very quiet there in the evenings.
The breakfast area is too small to fit the guests. From around 9 am people were waiting 10-20 minutes for a table. The rooms are not very soundproof- if you have loud neighbors, you will hear them.

Tragedia jeżeli chodzi o depozyt przy check in, miałem wynajęte 3 pokoje na kilka dni, depozyt przewyższał wartość samochodu używanego w Polsce, obsługa bardzo niemiła, śniadanie kolejka nawet do godziny,
My stay at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai was an absolute disaster. We experienced a major water leak from the ceiling in the middle of the night, turning our visit into a total nightmare. To make matters worse, the room and bathroom were filthy and reeked of cigarette smoke.
What was worse than the facility failure was the management’s pathetic response. No manager came to inspect the damage or provide an explanation. Throughout the ordeal, the staff showed zero accountability, and when we demanded to know who was handling our case, they hid behind ridiculous excuses about "language barriers" to avoid identification. It is insulting to claim that a flagship hotel in a major city cannot provide basic professional English communication.
The management here treats guests with arrogance and complete indifference. They have no respect for their guests' safety or well-being and hide behind empty corporate scripts instead of taking responsibility for their failures.
This is not a luxury experience; it is a display of gross negligence. If you value your money, your time, and your sanity, I strongly advise you to book somewhere else. One star is far too generous for this level of incompetence.
Bardzo dobra lokalizacja i ładny widok z okna
Mimo potwierdzenia przez hotel (w osobnej wiadomości po moim dodatkowym maili!), że pokój będzie gotowy od 15 (miałem za sobą długą podróż i wykupioną wycieczkę od 16:30) pokój nie był gotowy i nie było wiadomo kiedy będzie. Język angielski w recepcji bardzo słaby, ostatecznie o 15 pobrano ode mnie opłatę za pokój, dodatkowo 1000RMB kaucji i powiedziano, że przyślą mi maila, gdy pokój będzie gotowy. Oczywiście go nie dostałem, pojechałem na wycieczkę prosto z podróży. Po powrocie wieczorem pokój był gotowy, ale niestety nie był całkowicie czysty, między innymi poduszka była poplamiona. Nie zaproponowano mi żadnej rekompensaty za spóźnienie, ogólnie bardzo duże rozczarowanie.

Centrally located. Easily accessible via public transport. View overlooking the Bund. Good restaurants nearby. Breakfast with a view. Good housekeeping.

Se recibió poca ayuda o nada en recepción, sin casi alternativas para poder realizar un early check in que no se dio finalmente llegando de madrugada en vuelo internacional.
