According to Peruvian tax regulations, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners who stay more than 59 days in Peru) must pay 18% sales tax. To be exempt from paying 18% sales tax, guests must present a copy of their immigration card and passport.
Both documents must be submitted in order to qualify for the exemption from payment of sales tax. Otherwise, guests must pay the indicated tax.
This tax applies in the case of rooms shared by guests who must pay sales tax and guests exempt from the payment of sales tax.
Foreign business travelers requesting a printed invoice will also be charged 18% sales tax regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This tax is not automatically included in the total amount of the reservation.

Very friendly, with coffee shop connected open til 10pm.
This was not what I expected. While it was clean and the staff was nice I was dismayed by my first room. It was very small and there were no windows to the outside. I had also booked the wrong hotel and wanted to switch to a different location. I called the main number and the person I spoke to was very dismissive and would not help.
Luckily the staff were able to find me a larger room with a window to the outside. I do want to give a shout out to Esperanza who showed me the new room. She mostly worked in the breakfast room. She was so nice and helpful. Her smile and sweet disposition made an uncomfortable situation better. She seemed to be there every day and was a very hard worker. I am writing this to commend her work ethic. She made my stay bearable.
