Big room, very comfortable beds, excellent shower. Hotel very clean and felt well maintained.

Super helpful staff, and good value car park under the hotel, with EV charging - overall much cheaper than public car parks in Leeds centre.

Cons:

No aircon in the room!
Wasn't a problem on this trip as outside temp was 12C but in summer I can imagine it would be no fun at all.
Only way to cool the room is to open the windows. Again this might be OK, but you are close to a lot of traffic as the hotel is very central.

Best place to stay in Leeds!
Pros:

Room was super clean and comfy. Breakfast was great especially with proper gluten free options. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Overall we had a spectacular stay.

Always use the Clayton for my trips to Elland Road , easy walk to the ground and have everything i need at the Hotel

Everything about our stay was really very good except room temperature, which was such a shame

Breakfast was excellent. Good choice and hot breakfast was indeed hot! Staff excellent too. Nothing too much trouble. Evening meals were excellent too

Cons:

Temperature in room was uncomfortably low. Just 1 radiator and no thermostat to increase room temperature. No heating in bathroom at all. We would only return in Summer months.

Bruit, odeurs, service déplorable : un 4 étoiles ?
Cons:

Mon 4e séjour dans cet hôtel, et malheureusement probablement le dernier.

Je ne parle donc pas ici comme une cliente de passage qui découvre l’établissement pour la première fois, mais comme quelqu’un qui y a déjà séjourné à plusieurs reprises et qui a constaté une dégradation très nette de la qualité, du service et de l’expérience globale.

Cette fois-ci, l’expérience a été tout simplement catastrophique.

La chambre est inacceptable : un bruit continu de ventilation dans la salle de bain, impossible à arrêter car non relié à un interrupteur, qui tourne en permanence et empêche de se reposer correctement. À cela s’ajoutent des bruits sourds et anormaux pendant la nuit.

L’odeur dans la chambre est particulièrement désagréable : un mélange d’odeur de cigarette froide, de renfermé et d’humidité.

La configuration des lits est aberrante (photo à l’appui) : les lits sont pratiquement collés l’un à l’autre, sans réel espace pour circuler, ce qui rend la chambre peu pratique et inconfortable.

Lorsque j’ai signalé ces problèmes et demandé un changement de chambre, l’accueil à la réception a été particulièrement désagréable et peu professionnel. La chambre alternative proposée était encore pire : forte odeur d’égouts, beaucoup plus petite et avec une vue directe sur un mur. Ce n’était en aucun cas une solution acceptable.

Le plus choquant reste l’absence totale d’effort commercial ou de volonté réelle de résoudre le problème, alors même qu’il semblait exister d’autres disponibilités.

Pour un hôtel présenté comme un 4 étoiles, la baisse de niveau est flagrante : plus d’attentions particulières, plus de bouteilles d’eau, quasiment aucun service ou équipement digne du standing annoncé, sauf à payer une catégorie supérieure.

Quel contraste avec mes précédents séjours.

Aujourd’hui, cet hôtel donne l’impression d’un établissement mal entretenu, bruyant, négligé et avec un service client très décevant.

Extrêmement déçue.
Je ne recommanderais absolument plus cet hôtel.
