Mostly enjoyable
Pros:

It had a nice reception, bar and restaurant and felt comfortable in the public areas.

Cons:

The bed was a bit lumpy and the quilt was too small for the bed’s width.

I’ll be back. Enjoyed a very nice meal in the restaurant.
Pros:

I was impressed that both of the guys on the reception jumped to attention when I arrived and eager to provide a smooth and quick check-in. Building is well presented. Very nice bar and restaurant area. It was very good value. Rooms are older decor but it was really very comfortable.

For the price I’m happy
Pros:

Great location. Quiet. Good parking though extra. Nice bar and good Indian food. Staff very friendly. If you go in remembering the price for a near London hotel and not expecting fancy then you’ll be happy.

Cons:

Perhaps cut down on the disinfectant a little. Bit overpowering.

Fantastic value for money
Pros:

Convenient location, friendly team members, clean and comfortable. Fantastic value for price paid.

Cons:

Shower was a bit too hot, I think the mechanism on shower to make hotter/colder is broken.

Good stay for the price
Pros:

The hotel is definitely a bit dated and some of the furniture and equipment show signs of wear, but everything was clean and well maintained. The location is excellent — being right next to the underground station makes it a perfect base for exploring London. There is also affordable and secure parking, which is a huge advantage in London. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. The continental breakfast is very simple, but absolutely enough for a light start to the day. Overall, the value for money is excellent and we would happily stay there again.

Cons:

Although the hotel is old, some small improvements and minor repairs would really help improve the overall impression and make the stay feel more pleasant.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient.

Cons:

What I didn’t like was that staff attempted to enter our room without knocking at 10:30am even though check-out was at 11am. This has also happened during a previous stay when we had booked and paid for a late check-out, but staff still called the room asking us to come downstairs because they had not checked the system properly. On both occasions, staff tried to enter the room which made us feel uncomfortable. I now always make sure to use the safety chain because of these experiences
