I think the property location and the vintage decor brought me in… I had eaten at their restaurant a few weeks ago on my last trip to Florence and while I was making my way upstairs to the restaurant, I thought that the hotel looked pleasant. I kept this hotel in mind and I decided to book it for a night upon my return…
I was on the fourth floor right below the reception and lounge area and I could hear so much movement and noise (the sound of furniture moving constantly). I had to request earplugs. While the facility was clean, I couldn’t help but to wonder when they would update the room/s…
For breakfast, I found it astonishing that they charged €14 for an avocado toast… The continental breakfast is very basic and to be honest I was only able to get a pastry and took advantage of the cappuccinos. There was no cut fruit for the yogurt and granola… There really wasn’t very much to offer. One is forced to order from the menu… I think it’s best to eat out for breakfast.
Lastly, I decided to eat dinner at the Hōtel restaurant which I had thoroughly enjoyed on my first visit… the second time around I found my waiter to be fairly rude. At one point, he said to me “you know you can’t sleep here.” Clearly I was confused by his comment… “I said I’m a guest. Is everything OK?” Meanwhile there were people having drinks outside in the balcony, so it’s not like I was holding people over. I had just paid the bill and I was just finishing my glass of water so that I could call it a night.
Location, room and air con was great.
on the 4th floor so heard chairs being moved from the restaurant/ dining area on 5th floor till about midnight which was ok but not ideal.
Merci! A recommander!
The location was excellent.
The lift is tiny and it was very busy so had long wait times
Da localização
Café da manhã, disposição disposição quartos, ar condicionado péssimo.
Everything was perfect, amazing location and an interesting and unique interior. The staff was above expectation in all fronts and the breakfast seating was superb. Will return
Nothing

Nothing
Quirky, excellent staff, roof top restaurant, very central location
Small rooms. Having to pay extra for cooked eggs
Rien
Loved this quirky hotel. It was in a great location, Everything was thought about with lots of nice, little touches. It was comfortable with a fab lounge area. The breakfast was perfect for what we needed, and a nice touch was the staff remembered how we liked our coffee. The room was perfect size wise with a big bathroom. Would definitely stay there again.
The entrance and lift. It wasn't very clear about how to get to reception. The lift was tiny, it was only big enough for two people at a time.
