The room was clean and quiet. Rooms are like a glorified Travelodge.
Indoor pool was the best part.
The grandness of the building is misleading - photos should represent the places people stay. It’s the equivalent of displaying The Shard as the property but actually sleeping in the council flats next to it. Yes you can have your dinner in The Shard, but you can’t sleep there!
The bar service was utterly appalling. Queuing over half an hour for a drink. To not have half the drinks available.
The restaurant was appalling. Not all the Food on the menu available and after 1hr and 15min we gave up waiting for our dinner, we got a refund but went to bed hungry.
Das Fenster in unserem Zimmer war nicht richtig zu öffnen.Beim Frühstück wurde nicht nachgelegt...nur auf Nachfrage.Die Matratze war durchgelegen.
Location
Quiet location
Food and drink expensive
Not the best
Food could have been hotter quality sausage poor
Staff cleard table while we were still.eating when empty tables had dirty plates on
We stayed for one night after a family wedding, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, room was very clean and comfortable, modern bathroom/shower, and the food exceptional. Plenty of choice for breakfast, which was buffet style.
Room was quite small which may not suit someone staying for a longer break.
Location? Taxi was £26 to Fareham train station.
Breakfast. Excellent. But requested alarm call didnt happen.
Room? Very cold. Bring an extra jumper to sleep in.
Staff? Helpful and friendly
Swimming pool? Lovely. But they do not warn you that the changing rooms are both men and women. Therefore, this is a problem. They do not understand womens need for safety.
Give people the option to avoid the pool area, because it is unsafe to have mixed gender chsnging facilities.
Evening meal was excellent
Room in need of major update. Shower loose and clogged up with limescale, radiator in bathroom loose. Kettle so caked in limescale we wouldn’t use it.
Room was a good size and bathroom clean, pillows had seen better days and so not the most comfortable
Unable to open window, as the smoking area was outside my room - with the door having a fairly large gao underneath the smoke smell came in without windows open. Noise from people smoking was not the best after a long day training. And the guy deciding to have a row on a phone outside wasn't welcomed at all. ONce I did get to sleep hoping for a "bit" of a lay in, the beer barrels dropping to the floor outside the room at 7:30 we not welcomed either
Great location and park
Cheaply built
