Lovely quirky hotel, with great staff and good
Pros:

Beautiful historic building tucked away in a wonderful setting in the countryside. Staff attentive, helpful and friendly. Food was very good.

Cons:

It is a very old building and as you would expect it requires a lot of maintenance. Some areas were in need of repair .. the window frame wood was rotting, carpets a bit worn etc

The hotel itself is in dire need of a refurb

Loved it and will definitely revisit
Pros:

In a lovely setting, very peaceful.

Cons:

A few steps down in Dining room which I found difficult to manage. But discovered a different access from lower level. Wish that reception staff had shown us this on arrival.
