A must stay! See my Google review. Sundu made the visit great from the start. Right on the beach. Stayed in a room with kitchenette, Will do again.
It was great, we went for our anniversary. It was nice to get a card from the hotel. We loved the view and the hot tub. We plan on coming back next year
We got the king, with jetted tub, and fireplace. It was a great room, and affordable! We couldn't believe how big it was! We just wish we could have time to enjoy it all more with the event we were there for. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, cereal, Yogurt, waffles. It was clean, and well maintained. Front office staff was helpful and nice. We could see the pool, but didn't use it. The things that usual hotels seem to forget to clean, such as the fridge, or under stuff, was clean! We jetted tub was clean, and even when we used the jets it was clean!
Getting into the tub was hard , but it's only bc of my knees and the way the tub was positioned. The bed was too stiff. There was a formal dance going on the night we came, ago college kids everywhere, but they were decently quiet. But parking was awful.
Great room. Very clean. Nice pool and hot tub. Exercise room needs a working TV and water. Needs to be transparent about total cost including taxes and fees upon checkin. Was unpleasantly surprised after checking out when we got the full tab in our email.
The hotel is older, but charming. The rooms are large and clean. If you like water, they have a great pool area. I did not bring a suit! The value for the night was competitive with surrounding hotels. Location is good and bad. Being on the corner, per sea, can be cumbersome. It did not bother me because I could drive to any spot I needed from the hotel.
Nice place, great location! Rather dated in the suites, definitely need to be brought into the 2000's otherwise a good stay.
The room was large and comfortable which was important since this was a winter trip so more time was spent indoors. View was nice. Breakfast was great.
My first stay at the Cherry Tree was more than 20 years ago, and I loved it. With the off-season rate coinciding with a rare vacation opportunity, I was able to afford a short trip to TC and another stay at Cherry Tree. It did not disappoint! The facility, staff, service, guest room, and other amenities were still top-notch, just as I remembered from years earlier. It’s a great destination hotel that puts you in a perfect spot to explore everything Traverse and the Leelanau Peninsula have to offer. Looking forward to staying at Cherry Tree again one day soon.
The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect!
closer to downtown...
The staff and facilities are always a joy.
My upstairs neighbors had a toddler that wouldn't sit still.
Great experience as usual. I love Ms. Laura and all the staff. Everyone is just like family. I will return in October for the fall color experience.
