Location was right great. Right across the street was a nice place to eat and have a drink. Pool was nice weather not so much. Had a basketball court near pool which we thought was neat.

Not what you would expect from a Hyatt branded property! This Hyatt House is not maintained, unsafe and poorly managed. I made my reservation on the Hyatt.com website. When I went to check in, they didn't have my room type - King 1 Bedroom - available. They first gave me a key to a room that was already occupied - surprise for me and the guest staying there. They then put me in a Queen Disabled room. Finally, they put me in a 2 Bedroom but it wasn't on the 1st floor - NO ELEVATOR - so the desk guy had to help me carry up my baggage. The property has stairs that are broken - be careful if you do have to go upstairs - and is poorly lit. Most of the lighting around the property doesn't work. I'm shocked that Hyatt continues to offer their name to this place. I'll be staying elsewhere go forward.

Hotel is very dated. Bed was not comfortable. Water pressure/spray pattern in bathroom literally hurt my sensitive parts it was so aggressive. Carpet is filthy. It was billed as a full kitchen...we got 2 spoons, 2 forks, 2 knives, 4 glasses, 2 plates. Ice maker worked great. Closet is quite large. It never really got dry in the room...towels hung for use the next day were still damp 24 hours later. Hot tub was scummy. They installed two new outdoor shower heads while we were there (literally installed them while we were laying in lounge chairs...despite pool hours not opening until 11am...they had time to do that work before guests were allowed into the area). I will say the hotel is located in a very nice area of town, w lots of shopping and restaurants very nearby and immediate access to the highway system. Despite all the above, we would probably stay there again...it really was a nice area anyway. Key card system worked very well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at breakfast was not Hyatt quality IMO.

Hyatt House Dallas/Las Colinas — Disappointing Stay (April 17–20). I arrived to a room that felt neglected: floors were not swept or mopped, carpet not vacuumed, counters dirty and not wiped down, and pillowcases stained. I ended up buying my own cleaning supplies because housekeeping did not show up as promised, and staff would not move me to a different room due to being sold out. Despite assurances, no one from housekeeping arrived to clean my room. Management’s response and communication were lacking, and a roach was present, highlighting serious sanitation and maintenance failures. This combination of unaddressed cleanliness problems, lack of housekeeping, and poor management communication made the stay untenable and not worth the cost; I cannot recommend this property in its current condition.

Don't even think about staying here, this is is the bottom of the barrel MOTEL. Room 313, has 3 gunshot holes in the window, stained floor like the size of a pool of blood in the same room they did a horrible job fixing it. Dirty dishes, 1 spoon, splatter of food and whatever else on the walls, sheets were dirty, no toilet paper in one bathroom, no blankets on one of the beds.... wadded up soaked (but now dry) paper towel and garbage in the window sill, dried onion stuck to the cabinets, sticky carpet, cabinets missing handles or doors almost falling off and havent been wiped down in years... shall I keep going? Outside the walkway lamps are all broken, leaning and torn apart. I can't even believe Hyatt has their name on this dump.

The location was great. I was near many places and within 20 minutes or less for activities for my grandson.

The space you get for the money.

This hotel was terrible. It was distgustingly dirty - our towels were dirty. Our sink was dirty. The toilet seat was dirty. Nothing worked in the gym, which was also filthy. The water fountains didn't work. The staff was not professional (one didn't even stop his personal call while he "helped" me) - they handed me towels and toilet paper in the lobby when I was on the way to dinner (I'm guessing because they had no one to bring them to me). Dogs barked all night in rooms where people must have left them alone (or were too unaware to notice??).

I told corporate to close down this hotel - that's how bad it was.
