The buildings, grounds and facilities.
Cooked breakfast was served a bit quick whilst still eating cold coarse etc.
Entorno maravilloso
La falta de accesibilidad a ciertos pisos
Der Park
Das zimmer . Der Preis ist absolut übertrieben.
room was lovely, spacious and comfortable with large bathroom and great bed
There are no bins around the property grounds, which are otherwise great for dog walks. Had to walk around all the way back to my room with a poop bag in my hand. Otherwise it is a dog friendly hotel
Fantastic restaurant and lovely grounds to walk around
Service was a little slow on the terrace
So much character in the buildings, fascinating history but also very comfortable in every way. The grounds alone are superb, with huge specimen trees and lakes. The gardening team created lovely shrubberies and colourful pots and baskets everywhere. The grandeur of a stately home but a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The extensive grounds ensured a peaceful night’s sleep and the health club facilities were also good.
Very little to criticise, in the extreme heatwave when we stayed some guests were surprised the bedrooms did not have aircon but the windows could all the opened to let in cool breezes at night.
Location
Needs renovation no lift
It was very clean and quiet and staff were very helpful and friendly.
The location is phenomenal and we loved the period features and also the facilities
We did notice food trays from room service with half eaten food and various bottles of half consumed drink still littering the corridors at 9pm. Well after the housekeeping staff had finished their work for the day which I don’t think gives a great impression (to be clear these same trays were there from when we checked in at 1pm to when we returned to our room around 9pm)
Beautiful views and peaceful surroundings
Good location , stunning grounds great facilities. Staff very friendly.
Cost of the food and drink was very high .
Bedroom in attic not great I felt like we had been allocated that room because we had come via booking .com where the rate was cheaper. , very soft mattress
