Honestly Nothing
I honestly did not feel that I was staying at a Marriott Hotel. The experience with both the front desk and housekeeping staff was extremely unprofessional and disappointing.
The room had an unpleasant smell and almost everything in the room from the telephone to various other items seemed to have a musty and unpleasant odour. When I raised this issue with the housekeeping staff, I was told that the rooms remain locked for 3-4 days due to non-occupancy, which apparently causes moisture and a bad smell. This, however is not an acceptable explanation for the condition of a hotel room.
The front desk service was equally disappointing. The reception staff often do not answer calls and getting someone to pick up the phone feels like a matter of luck. Even when calls are answered the overall response does not reflect the level of professionalism and service one would expect from a Marriott property.
I also personally met Mr. Abishak and shared my experience with him directly. Unfortunately, the overall experience was far below what I expected from a Marriott Hotel and I sincerely hope the management looks into these issues seriously.
Ambience was very nice. There was an ample choice of restaurants. We tried three different restaurants, everywhere food was great.
