One of the best Hyatt properties over 2 decades
Pros:

I have spent more nights in hotels than at home for years, so hotels have become my home.

However, the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires holds a special place—and rightly so, once again—thanks to its timeless architecture but, above all, its exceptional service, which has remained unsurpassed for nearly two decades.

My thanks go to Leandro, Alejandro, Magali, Azul, Lucio, and the entire team for making this latest trip to Argentina so memorable.

Amazing hotel
Pros:

Amazing memorable stay!! We loved this hotel’s location, amenities and service! Our room had a living space, bedroom, large closets and 2 bathrooms- it was spotless and the welcome wine and macarons were a bonus! We’d definitely recommend this place and we’d love to stay there again.

A palace that earns it’s name
Pros:

Amazingly beautiful facility with great food and service. The room was wonderful with a great bed and bathroom. During our vacation we stayed at five high end hotels. This was our favorite.

An Exceptional Stay
Pros:

Palacio Duhau has a rare ability to feel both grand and intimate. Pros:

The Palacio Duhau was simply the best hotel experience my wife and I have had. From the room in the Palace to the food at Vinoteca restaurant I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. They consistently went above and beyond the fine hotel and resort experience

A luxury hotel that lacks hospitality
Pros:

A very disappointing stay at a hotel where hospitality should, in principle, be a naturally strong. From a rude attendant during breakfast, to exceptionally poor and inattentive service at dinner, and finally a curt receptionist at check-out, the overall experience was an embarrassingly poor reflection on the hotel. A few staff members—including a young doorman—were notably different, offering the attentive and welcoming service one would expect. Unfortunately, their efforts were overshadowed by the consistently poor service elsewhere. A shame for such a notable hotel.

A 5-star hotel that meets the 5-star standard.
Pros:

This hotel met our high expectations. Service was excellent and our stay went very well.
The check in was efficient and friendly with a very courteous bellman showing us to our room. The room was clean and on the large side for an urban hotel. It was also well-appointed. The "american" outlets were a nice addition despite the fact that we brought converters.
The breakfast buffet had nice continental selections and the ability to add eggs and other hot a la carte options was nice. The hotel location was perfect for our needs and the walkable neighborhood had a few nice choices for simple dining. The concierge was very helpful in organizing a day trip to Colonia, Uruguay.
We did not dine at the hotel restaurant but found the Oak Room bar to have great food and an old school bar atmosphere, which we enjoyed thoroughly. We did not go to the spa. Overall, a 5-star hotel that meets the standard. Very nice!

First Class Hospitality Amidst a Gorgeous Hotel
Pros:

The hotel property is absolutely gorgeous and photos don't do it justice. Additionally, every single member of the hotel staff was extremely warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful! My husband and I have traveled extensively all over the world and we both felt the hospitality was first class and the best we have ever experienced on any of our travels! The property is amazing and we also loved exploring the gardens, viewing the art installations, smelling the fresh flowers in the walkway and the food and beverage were incredible as well! We hope to return soon!!

One of the best in world
Pros:

Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires is, quite simply, one of the finest hotels in the world. From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptional — warm, polished, and attentive at every turn, anticipating needs before we even voiced them.

The property itself is stunning: the original 1934 palace on Avenida Alvear paired with the modern Posadas building, connected by beautiful gardens. The dining is outstanding, the rooms are impeccable, and the overall level of service rivals anything we've experienced anywhere.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Buenos Aires. We can't wait to return.

Elevating our first time in Buenos Aires

Very nice hotel in a superb location. Friendly and effective staff. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Palacio Duhau for four nights and had an excellent experience. The hotel combines the elegance of a historic palace with modern comfort, creating a unique atmosphere that feels both luxurious and welcoming. The location in Recoleta is outstanding—within walking distance of many of Buenos Aires’ top attractions, restaurants, parks, and museums, while remaining quiet and safe.

The staff were consistently warm, professional, and attentive. From check-in to departure, every interaction was pleasant and efficient, and the concierge team provided helpful recommendations and assistance throughout our stay.

Our suite room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, with excellent housekeeping service. The hotel grounds, including the gardens connecting the palace and modern building, are beautiful and provide a peaceful retreat in the middle of the city.

Palacio Duhau was the perfect base for our first visit to Buenos Aires. We would gladly stay here again and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality hotel experience in the city. Rating: 5/5.
