Clarion Hotel Bergen Airport Terminal

Perfect location for early am flights-easy 5-10 min walk to terminal. Hotel is otherwise quite average. Bizarre design feature is bathroom has one corner that is combo of frosted and clear glass giving partial but revealing view into bathroom. What was the design team thinking??? Having said all this I would stay here again for easy access to airport

Having travelled overnight from Alesund all we wanted, as two pensioners, on arrival was to find the usual kettle to have a cup.of tea in our room - we even had our own cups, teabags and milk. Told bluntly that in standard rooms you dont get a kettle. Really, at this price in a hotel in Norway no tea, coffee option in a hotel room? All our other hotels in Norway have been exceptional so very disappointing. Won't be booking here again. JM

The Clarion Hotel Bergen Airport is incredibly convenient and just a quick, easy walk from the terminal. My room was absolutely immaculate and inviting, offering a view of both the airport and the incoming ships.
The absolute highlight of my stay was dinner at the restaurant. The seafood was expertly cooked and paired perfectly with a nice wine selection. The entire wait staff was so welcoming and provided wonderful service in every respect—it truly made the evening.
While a small matter came up during my stay, the General Manager, Espen Hammersvik, stepped in the following day and resolved everything quickly and flawlessly. A huge, special thanks to him for his attentiveness, professionalism, and rapid resolution!

Excellent location within a 2 minute walk of the new terminal building at Bergen Flesland airport. I arrived late but was still given a warm efficient welcome and even provided with a sandwich as the restaurant and bar had closed.
Room was clean and comfortable but lacked a usb charging port, unfortunately.
The breakfasts at this hotel are probably the best hotel breakfasts that I've had in years, a splendid spread and great variety. Calm, efficient and friendly atmosphere throughout my stay.

Okay, we are Titanium Platinum Marriott members and so I rarely leave the Marriott family. This was so close the airport that we decided to give it a try and we could not be happier with our choice. Amazing hotel and unbelievable location; Easy walk from the airport. The train to and from downtown was so easy and every 8 minutes. Which made all of Bergen so accessible.
The beds are so comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and had something for everyone. We have 2 young children and they loved all of it as well. Even the picky eaters will be happy. So fresh and delicious. The gym was not huge but really nice and working treadmills.
Couldn’t hear any airport traffic at all. Highly recommend this location. We would stay here again without any hesitation and recommend it to anyone.

The Clarion Hotel Bergen Airport Terminal is located close to the airport terminal. Nice and clean room, good sleep.

I'm returning back to this hotel because it offers nice and clean room, tasty food in the restaurant and it is located close to the terminal building at Flesland, Bergen (BGO) airport.

We booked the Clarion because we had a 6 am flight. They open their breakfast at 4 am, so we were able to get coffee and a basic breakfast before walking over to the airport. What a godsend.

My only complaints are the small size and quantity of hooks in the bathroom and the height of the tub/shower. It was difficult to get into shower due to height.

Walking distance to Airport. Less than 10 minutes from lobby to airport departure counters. Staff set aside an airport luggage cart for us since we had a 6:00 am flight. Staff provided very clear walking instructions to the airport departures and the availability of "take-out" breakfast boxes for our early departure. Walkway is about 80% covered and we did have light rain in the morning (remember this is Bergen)!

My room was very clean and the bath was well equipped with soap, shampoo and lotion. The hotel was very nice. The staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious … more vegan lotions would have been nice.

Olaf in the restaurant/bar was very friendly, patient and offered terrific service.

I had to be at the airport around 4:30am the next day so booked a room at this hotel and glad I did. There were some nice views of all the airport action out some of the windows yet it was quiet and I slept well.

The location is walking distance to the terminal and an easy light rail ride to a nice shopping center called Lagunen. I dropped off the luggage midday and went off to shop. When I got back, my room was ready. The appetizers that I had at the hotel restaurant were good, too. I did not have time to enjoy the hot breakfast but was able to take a few items to go.

With taxi fare in '25 into Bergen about $100 and luggage on trams or busses a hassle, this is a great place for a 1 night stay.
Rooms are not large and a bit warm in autumn with no a/c (as is typical in northern Europe) and king beds two twins pushed together, a nights sleep was okay as it was quiet. Shower/tubs will get the floor wet showering despite a partial glass screen.
The restaurant serves very well prepared meals and snacks and the bar selection is good with excellent service.
Breakfast (included) was massive with hot and cold choices. Some hot foods are uncovered and not very warm as the morning progresses. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the airport check in, via a mostly exposed to the elements path through the parking garage.

Nice room with comfortable bed. I think the thermostat device is not working, as it was loose-fitting to the wall. But, the temperature was suitable for me

just a short walk to the main BGO terminal. Even in the rain! There's a covered parking structure you can sneak through.

My criteria for an airport hotel is that it has to quiet, comfortable, and convenient. This hotel meets all those. We had a "deluxe" room which was quite large and faced the airport. We were worried about noise but heard virtually nothing when planes took off. Bergen also has a helicopter terminal where oil rig workers are ferried out to the sites. The lobby has a display of flight arrival and departures and also a separate one for the oil rig flights! The bed and pillows were comfortable. The only English channel on the TV was Sky News, which is a rather poor substitute for the BBC channel available in most European hotels. There is no shuttle to the airport entrance; you essentially duck into the rental car return garage which is adjacent to the hotel and take the parking garage walkway to the terminal. Not too far but several hundred yards nonetheless. Overall a great experience.
