There was a smell inside the room like someone was cooking. The bathroom vent cover fell down when the fan started up.
Easy access quiet location
The rooms are family friendly and spacious. Staff are happy to rectify issues promptly.
The carpet stains, air conditioners had thick dust and due for service. Vacuuming might have been missed from last customer. Internet service is not good at night so have your own. Not the best for allergies.
The whole night the air conditioner was not working

Nothing
Was very happy with our room in motel style room.
The room was clean, smelled nice and very comfortable.
The bed was very comfy and the pillows were vey good not flat and lumpy.
Would definitely use this motel again.
Was very happy with room.
No complaints
Location for us was very good, good value for the money, clean rooms, professional and friendly staff at reception.
Not enough milk supplies to go with the provided tea and coffee. Pillows were big and firm, making them very uncomfortable. While there was a spare pillow, it was the same type. Maybe offer a softer pillow as the spare.
The fire alarm went off early morning (thankfully a false alarm). People evacuated but just milled around in the driveway. There was a disappointing lack of staff guidance or information. The staff need to be trained in customer engagement during emergencies.
Big rooms, location.
All 3 bedrooms supposed to have tv as per booking.com description but only master bed had one. Misleading advertisement. We did late check in, property manager said they were going to leave the room key and parking access key on the after hour check in box. But didn’t put the parking access key. It was very hard for us to carry all the luggages. Very disappointed.
This is the 2nd time that we stayed here (1 adult & 2 children), albeit in a slightly different room/configuration. The room was comfortable and we had everything we needed, Once again, the room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. The staff were great and so so helpful. Location is great.
Would we stay here again? Absolutely.
Only two things that aren't even really that big a deal:
1. I preferred the room we had in the first week of our booking. It was more like an apartment than a hotel room and that definitely suited my family better. (That's not to say there's anything wrong with the 2nd booking, just a preference).
2. The on-site parking is tricky... If you get there early enough, you can find parking under the hotel or in the main lot outside, however park with caution as there's many work vans and trucks that will also park there (and I'd hired a car, so was constantly concerned about where to park and mindful of not parking too close to anyone to avoid any damage to the car). While there's an enormous open parking lot right next door at the Hawker Shops, it doesn't feel like it would be as safe as parking in the Hotel lot, although we did have to park there several evenings and everything was fine.
Stair case for most floor open. The staircase area was clean too
Next to Woolie
Laundry available
There are strong spices smell believing from the drainage
The location was convenient for our needs. The shower was hot and the water pressure was good. The price was good for Canberra. Biscuits were supplied with the tea and coffee. There was a Bible in the room, which was nice to see.
There was no lock on the window. We only found this out as the window was closed when we left the room and it was open when we arrived back to the room. We tried to lock it but there was no lock. There was an external grill so, luckily, no-one had gained entry to the room. The sheets and towels were clean but had stains on them and one of the teacups had some sort of residue in the bottom of it that wouldn't come out. It was pretty gross. Although tea and coffee were supplied, there was no milk in the room, so we had to go to reception to get some. The doors bang very loudly when closed and the people next to us were in and out all night until 1am, so their door was constantly banging. Overall, not a pleasant experience.
Three bed room unit was perfect size for our group of 3 adults and 4 children.
Heating didn’t sufficiently heat space. Hot water was barely even warm in both the evening and the following morning. Neither good on a cold winter night.
The location and convenience of the surrounding area.
It’s very old and needs a facelift, it just didn’t feel clean. The staff seemed flustered and unorganized. We checked-in at 2pm and were told that our room might not be ready due to being a full house but we are welcome to check. Once we got to the room it wasn’t ready, it hadn’t even been cleaned. The receptionist had a too bad attitude until my husband asked for a refund and then her attitude changed.
They need to fix there fire alarms so guest don't get woken up at 630am with faulty alarms
