Pros:

First time ever staying at a Drury Inn. We loved it. Will be starting again in another state

I did not agree with the micro-monitoring of the pool area while trying to enjoy some leisure time with my family. The staff came around with a checklist questioning as if they didn’t believe we didn’t have a room.
They charged my card at 11:03 pm which luckily declined because it was locked. I called guest services to figure out what the charge was about and they said they didn’t know of anything it could have been.
There were stains on the sheets and bathroom walls had poop smear on it.
After checking out, there was an additional charge added as well as the printed receipt stating that there were 3 adults and 3 children when there were only two adults and my kids which I informed the front desk of when checking in.

Large rooms were nice...

Cons:

I didn't like that every room is available for people with pets. Nothing against animals, but allergies down mix with animals. I didn't realize this was a pet friendly hotel. Even so, the rooms were cleaned you could still smell the last animal that was in this room. The front desk said it had been over a month since the last animal in this room. We will stay at a different hotel next time.
