Well appointed property. Good room. Good facilities. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Most staff were good. Thanks to the reservations manager for listening to my concerns regarding the things I didn't like and saying he would follow up.

Cons:

No towels in room. No answer from reception. No response to follow up via booking.com messaging option till late the next morning. Suggestion fron receptionist that I should have gone down to reception, which made me feel I was being blamed for the fact I had to go out that evening without taking a shower. On checking out, was held in my car at a barrier by a security personnel member while he told me I was not allowed to be parked in the basement even though a valet had directed me there the previous evening. When I explained this, he said he would check the camera, which suggests to me that he didn't believe me. Despite repeated requests to open the barrier, he kept interrupting me and repeating that what I did was not allowed. I felt more like a lawbreaker than a guest. Advice to the property is to review what happened and try to ensure that information provided to the guest is consistent across all depts to avoid future incidents like this. Assuming this is done, I would still recommend the hotel. My rating is reflective of this hopefully one off experience. This was likey just a series of unfortunate events and I was unfortunate to get caught in the crossfire. If I stay again and all goes well, I would rate it higher.
