⭐ Very Disappointed — Not What I Expect From Hilton
I would not recommend staying at this location. Don’t be fooled by the price you see online, because you may end up paying considerably more once you are here.
From the moment I arrived, the experience was frustrating. I pulled up expecting to use valet parking, but there was no valet attendant available. I went inside, checked in, came back outside, and still could not get anyone to assist me. I eventually left to get something to eat and hoped the situation would be better when I returned.
When I came back, it wasn't. For a hotel of this size, it appeared they had one person trying to handle valet, and when I did finally see him, he seemed more focused on his phone than paying attention to arriving guests who needed assistance.
Because I could not get proper valet service, I parked in the lot across the street. I scanned the QR code, paid for my parking, and received a text confirmation showing that my parking was paid.
Something told me to go back and check my vehicle because I normally do not like leaving my car in these types of parking lots. Thankfully, I did. When I returned, my vehicle had been booted even though I had already paid for parking. Nearly every other vehicle I saw in the lot also had a boot on it.
I showed proof that I had paid, but I was told there was nothing they could do. I had to pay $156 to have the boot removed and was told I would have to dispute the charge by email. So not only did I pay for parking, I had to pay another $156 just to get access to my own vehicle and now have to spend my time disputing the charge.
This entire situation could have been avoided if the hotel had adequate and attentive valet service available for its guests.
A serious warning if you stay here: I would not risk parking in the lot across the street. My experience was that paying for parking did not prevent my vehicle from being booted. The possibility of paying $156 to remove a boot — or potentially having your vehicle towed — simply isn't worth it.
The additional costs don't stop there. The downstairs snack/convenience area is also extremely overpriced. What initially appears to be a reasonably priced hotel online can quickly become a much more expensive stay.
I am a Hilton member and have stayed with Hilton without ever experiencing a situation like this. That is probably what makes this experience even more disappointing. As a Hilton member, I have expectations for the level of service associated with the brand, and unfortunately, this location fell well short of those expectations.
Between the lack of adequate valet service, paying for parking and still having my vehicle booted, the additional $156 charge, the overpriced food and beverages, and the overall inconvenience, I am extremely disappointed with this stay and would not recommend this location.
Valet. Excellent. Courteous.
