I would go back if I was working in the area again
Pros:

Stuff were very friendly and helpful. The meal was very good all all good.

Cons:

Was a little difficult to find mainly due to satnav issue

Nice enough as a base
Pros:

Friendliness of the staff, they are a credit to the hotel.

Quiet location, quiet guests.

Cons:

I paid to upgrade to an executive room, with separate bath and shower and seating area.

I got a box, not roomy. With a shower over bath, not like the pictures. No plug sockets on the sides of the bed, smoke alarm encased in a plastic bag.

It was clean enough and comfortable but not worth the upgrade.

The breakfast was nothing to shout home about, standard cheap and cheerful.

First thing you see on arrival at the hotel is a smashed window and boards up. After that once inside it’s fine for the money
