Good welcome and lovely rooom on the ground floor. Evening meal menu was good and the food excellent. Breakfast was good and in keeping with similar hotels.

Staff are attentive and strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast was varied and hot. Good selection available for dinner and dog welcome in most areas.
Wheelchair access difficult due to stairs but staff did all they could to ensure we felt welcome offering alternative room for easier access.

Nothing
Very good,lots and well cooked
It was so hot,not hotels fault but fans would have been good
The location is great. You are away from the crowds but you can do a lovely short walk along a lovely path that leads to lakeside. Obviously you do have to pay to get on a boat, but you would do that anyway I guess. It has a nice bar area. The staff are polite. The food was good.
The pool was being used for swimming lessons. So disappointed 😔. But hey it's good to learn to swim. Our room was terrible. It was a very hot day and the sun was beating in through the window and the curtains wouldn't close properly..they were hanging off, I mean badly. I had to stand on a chair and try and hook them up. Who does that!. Luckily we were only staying one night. There was a line of cobwebs along the ceiling which could easily have been cleaned with a duster.
Good location
Unfortunately in the hottest few days of the year so far there was no aircon in the room.
Bar staff great but receptionist not the happiest
The carvery, the breakfast, the beer garden and the room with a view
The water pressure and the road noise
Awful service
Awful service
The location of the hotel was great, easy to get to the rest of the lakes from there and a lovely walk starts just over the road. The bar staff were lovely and the outside area was lovely to have a drink outside.
The room was a great size with tea and coffee facilities, we had a gorgeous garden view, the room was dusty around the curtains and the carpet was filthy. The room was quiet.
The price was about right given it included breakfast, which was of a good standard.
All in all a nice base for our trip.
Friendly staff, always ready to help and advise. Very relaxing in the lounge, beautiful veiws from windows. Lovely breakfast in nice setting. We were really fortunate with the weather which put icing on holiday.
Parking car was sometimes difficult.
The room was very clean, large, beautiful views. And the bartender who got me a fan was lovely and kind. Great location.
The lady working the front desk when I arrived was very rude. She clearly didn’t want to be there and rolled her eyes when I asked if there was a fan I could have in my room (it was mid heat wave and there was no air conditioning). The dinner was average at best.
