Pros:

The Cabins were amazing proper cozy with the burner on after getring out of the hot tub the food was so tasty and worth the money the staff work very hard one staff member came over in the pouring down rain to see if we needed anything for our cabin

Cons:

There wasnt anything i didnt like it was by far one of my fav breaks in a long time

Cons:

Light bulb not working in bedside light.
My room had french windows which was great for taking the dog out, but there was no actual window to open- it got quite hot and stuffy

All in all, we had a nice relaxed week away, in stunning settings..
Pros:

Absolutely everything
Good choice of food & drink both breakfast & evening meal
Room size was very good, we went for the deluxe double room, more than enough space, the views from our room were stunning..
House keeping came round every morning..

Lovely clean, high class accommodation.
Pros:

Good check in experience with very helpful staff. The evening meal was superb. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice .

an average accommodation , won’t be returning

the views , wildlife , flowers , food

Cons:

small bed , no dog bowl in room , no clean water for dog , loud screatching noise in pipes at 11pm and 7-30am waking us up , being charged an extra £18 for pool, very abrupt , unapproachable lady on reception

nice hotel, but just check what your getting
Pros:

The staff were all friendly, the food was good, and the outdoor gardens were beautiful.

Cons:

The room. I’d booked, what was one of the top priced rooms, the 4 poster room. The room was a bit dated, but that kind of suited the room, but there was no view. We were over the kitchen, so then you had that noise at 6am. Also they wanted £8 per person to use the pool, again no where when I booked did it say they charged for this. I’ve never been charged in all the hotels I’ve stopped at to use the pool/gym. It just put a dampener on what otherwise was a nice time.

Pros:

The property itself looked stunning

Cons:

The room smelt musty on entering. There was water coming from the bathroom after you’d used the shower, so we had to put a towel over the floor in the bathroom and also on the tiled floor outside the bathroom. The food in the restaurant was just ok, not worth the price.

Average rooms - lovely gardens - friendly staff
Pros:

The property has lovely gardens , the food was nice and staff pleasant.

Cons:

The room we were allocated was cottage 3.
Good size, dated - beds very UNCOMFORTABLE! Told the reception staff. Didn’t sleep well due to this. Room was cleanish- there was a draw missing out of the dresser and a large cobweb stuck the wall in the bathroom.
My parents also stayed in the “accessible “ room but the shower still had a step to get over which they couldn’t manage ( it should be a wet room really )
Not a lot around. We did book tea for the first night of the stay and it was very quiet so we assumed we didn’t need to book for the second but was told it was full and had to google then drive elsewhere (gilpin 10 mins away decent pub food )
Breakfast was nice and a good selection.
After driving into Bowness if I was to return I think I would have stayed here.

It was fair enough price overall for what i wanted
Pros:

Most things were fine

Cons:

The price of soft drinks a bit steep , the mattress wasn't the most comfortable the location was a bit remote for just getting up and going on a nice walk without initial transport car park a bit small
