Lovely staff, decent food, excellent breakfast but incredibly disappointing room.
Pros:

This property is an historic coaching inn and is very well located in the centre of Penrith

Cons:

The furniture and decor in our very expensive ‘feature room’ were very shabby and dated. The room actually smelled of sweat. Everything needed replacing. You cannot offer a supposedly top rate room which smells of human sweat and where the sofa and chairs were notably worn and dirty.
