The downstairs decor & layout is lovely, as is the friendliness of the staff
It needed more attention to detail, for example we felt some areas could have been cleaner
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing before a bike ride. Space for bikes.

It’s location
Although the room was spacious, it might have benefited from voile curtains. It was hard to know if the people working in the offices opposite, could see into the room.
The evening meal was superb. Breakfast was excellent. The bed was comfortable. An added bonus was that there was a fan in the room, very welcome during the heat wave!
