Pros:

The apartment was immaculately clean, comfortable and well equipped for a short city break or stopover. There are plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants nearby.
The location is excellent for exploring the city, being just a short walk from the lakeside with it's more scenic bars and restaurants. From there it was easy to cross by boat using the free Geneva tourist travel card or walk round and over the bridge to get to the old town, Jardin Anglais and beaches.

Convenient to station and shops
Pros:

Room is big enough for us to open our luggages and laid them on the floor. Kitchen with fridge, utensils, kettle and microwave. Strategic location . 8 minutes to Geneva station. Lots of eateries around. Supermarket nearby.

Cons:

Very noisy. We can hear next door guests so clearly from the bathroom. We stayed at 4th floor. It was so noisy and loud with people talking loudly at the street whole night long. It disrupted our sleep. Vehicles passing by too loud. One of the windows can’t be shut tied. This can’t fully block the street sound.

Pros:

The stay was comfortable, particularly because the room was located on a high floor and overlooked the back of the building, making it very quiet. In addition, the location is within walking distance of Gare Cornavin, which made it very convenient.

Cons:

The kitchen only had a kettle and a microwave available, but I would simply have preferred to have basic cooking facilities so I could prepare simple meals myself, such as frying or boiling eggs. in addition, having and additional chair and a small coffee table will make the room more comfortable for two people.

Very basic accommodations in a decent location
Pros:

Close to a vast number of ethnic restaurants, reasonably priced (for Geneva).

Cons:

Check in is at the Novotel front desk; key access off the street to very basic and worn halls, stairs, and tiny elevator. Rooms are workable and you can sleep okay, but this is more like hosteling than a hotel.
