Noch nie sowas unverschämtes und kriminelles erlebt

Leider die mit Abstand schlechteste Hotelerfahrung, die ich je gemacht habe.

Zunächst wurde mir ein Zimmer zugeteilt, das nicht dem entsprach, was ich gebucht hatte. Es lag direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße, sodass an Schlaf kaum zu denken war. Erst nach einer unangenehmen Diskussion mit einer äußerst unfreundlichen und arroganten Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption konnte ich am nächsten Tag das Zimmer wechseln. Das neue Zimmer war zwar deutlich besser, doch damit begannen die eigentlichen Probleme.

Nach dem Check-out bemerkte ich, dass ich meinen Schmuck im Safe vergessen hatte – im Wert von über 18.000 €. Ich kontaktierte das Hotel sofort telefonisch, wurde jedoch lediglich abgewimmelt. Auf meine E-Mails erhielt ich zunächst keine Reaktion, später stellte ich fest, dass meine E-Mail-Adresse offenbar blockiert wurde. Erst über eine andere Adresse erhielt ich eine kurze Antwort, dass angeblich nichts gefunden worden sei.

Ein Freund, der in Barcelona lebt, fuhr sogar persönlich zum Hotel. Auch er wurde lediglich abgespeist mit dem Hinweis, dass ausschließlich das Housekeeping zuständig sei und das Management nichts damit zu tun habe.

Besonders erschreckend finde ich, dass offenbar keinerlei ernsthafte Nachforschungen angestellt wurden. Es wurden weder Kameraaufzeichnungen überprüft noch konnte man mir Auskunft darüber geben, wer nach meinem Check-out Zugang zum Zimmer hatte oder ob ein Protokoll über den Safe existiert.

Statt Unterstützung, Transparenz und Professionalität erhielt ich Ignoranz, Ausreden und mangelnde Kommunikation. Für ein Hotel in dieser Preisklasse (über 500 € pro Nacht) ist das absolut inakzeptabel.

Da ich weiterhin keine angemessene Unterstützung erhalte, werde ich nun Strafanzeige erstatten und den Generaldirektor über den Vorfall informieren.

So etwas habe ich in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie noch nie erlebt.

The hotel that covers a beach stay on a city break where everyone was lovely
Pros:

All staff were super friendly. Gym was exceptionally well equipped. Outdoor areas and breakfast were great too.

Not Welcoming
Pros:

People of color are not welcome!!!. We decided to leave because of the poor service; none of our requests were addressed!, and w were left waiting for a very long time. We didn't feel welcome, especially not from someone who was supposed to be a supervisor w/ blue-jacket dark hair and bear, It's concerning that such a lack of consideration still exists!!. We felt uncomfortable with the way they looked at our clothes, as if we weren't appropriate. Its no surprise this place is empty on a Saturday if the service isn't going to look you in the eye and judge you.

Pros:

We are absolutely enjoying our (still here) - the room is clean and cozy and the service has been amazing at every touch point. We were extremely happy to be invited for roof top yoga upon our arrival. The breakfast is one of the best (if not the best) we’ve had, and we’ve had many around the world. Annick has been taking such good care of us during breakfast. Also the gym is superb. I would definitely recommend and come back!

Pros:

Ein wunderschönes Hotel in super Lage, 5 min zum Strand mit vielen Restaurants und 2 Busstationen zur Sagrada Familia.
