Nice pool/lovely dining room and good breakfast choice . Lovely room .
Signage for rooms. When we arrived with case/bags there was no sign to day which way room was. Would be easy to put one up. Once found room it was obviously fine but annoying going wrong way with heavy bag.
No hairdryer in room. Which is unusual in a hotel of this standard.
No breakfast menus on outside tables so not aware could order alternative items.
Breakfast day 1 nice. Pool nice
No Aircon, room was unbelievably uncomfortable. Contemplated going home. My fault as I didn't read small print and opted for no Aircon room only myself to blame.
Plenty of facilities to use and friendly staff.
Finding my room on arrival was very confusing and I wasn't the only person walking around trying to find their room.

Lovely grounds and setting. The Manor House is beautiful and a lovely pool.
The restaurant seemed to be undergoing some issues which hopefully can be resolved. Long waits for food and inexperienced staff.
The breakfast buffet just did not work for hot food. Of 5 hot plates there only ever seemed to stuff on 3 although after long waits items did get replenished but clearly kitchen was not on top of it. Although some staff lovely there were never enough of them. Copious children which is fair enough but lots of food on floor which never got cleared up.check in was just a farce
At check in just poor lone Samy who seemed to be telling the numerous checking. Fore me that they had only booked one night( incorrectly) . Same happened to me but I had all my paper work and records with me so when I showed the proof all was sorted. At same time as this a groom and his family were trying to check in but at 3.30 after 30 mi Ute wait room was still described as not yet ready. Mother of groom went into belt down- assertively not rudely- asked for manager who appeared and must have been able to hear all that had been going on- insensitivity to his staff and poor leadership on his part.
I was given a disabled room because I had ensured on booking that I would get the walk in shower that I needed. There were some lively touches like espresso machine and free wine and soft drinks but room was dark and faced by a restaurant balcony on which people were still noisily sitting at 2.45 on Sunday morning eliminating any possibility of sleep. My room was also just beyond door into the long corridor and other rooms- this swing door was very noisy and needs some softening device.

Notwithstanding the heatwave the fan provided in the room was not sufficient - perhaps AC units would work better.
The fire strip around the door was excessively gapped (I could place my finger all around the door whist closed). This would have not prevented fire or smoke if there was a fire emergency. I reported this to the front desk on departure.

The grounds & large outdoor seating & bar area. The bar & spa staff were friendly
Dirty plates, bottles and glasses outside people’s rooms upon check in and still there at bedtime. Asked multiple times for it to be cleaned up and for a travel cot we did not need (conjugated prior to check it …and also stained) to be removed multiple times. The dirty dishes etc in corridors was both very unsightly but also dangerous for our young toddler. Totally unacceptable for them to be there for 6+ hours. Bar food service was painfully slow.

The room size was smaller than expected. The Blue Badge parking was quiet a long way from the designated room
