Missed housekeeping no tea and sugar
No room in the restaurant
Our room was spacious, warm and clean, a good view would have been nice but it was Ok. Breakfast was very good. The dinners were excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the Spa and that was great. Swimming Pool was a lovely extra that we enjoyed.
Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. The food in the bar was 'average' but the service was good. The room was clean and very well appointed. We enjoyed the pool and spa area. There was plenty of parking.
No plug on one side of the bed. Quite a long walk from the room to the restaurant, reception and bar but covered walkways.
It was quiet and not in the town
Receptionist was not welcoming , the resturant was noisy and over crowded and there was a delay in being served - hoping for a quiet evening and perhaps a swim early morning but children were allowed in the pool between 8 and 10 … didn’t really want to swim in a children’s pool -
Beautiful setting. We thought the room was basic for a superior
We waited an hour and a half for our meal in the restaurant. We complained and so did many others. We could see the staff dancing when the kitchen doors opened. Sadly a huge letdown. I’ve emailed and they’ve ignored it.
The wedding barn was great

That my room wasn't available when I arrived at gone 4pm
Hotel contacted us hours before check-in advising they had double booked and moved us to another hotel. We were attending a wedding at the Norton and the other hotel was a 20 minute car ride away.
Always a reliable place to stay and never disappoints
Bed super comfortable and clean room.
Service was poor. I am sad to say.
Waited for my food for 40 minutes at the bar. Other customers ordered their food and arrived quickly 10-15 minutes.
Asked if they could kindly check on my order. Said they would. Another 5 minutes passed with no update. And had to ask again and was told the kitchen was making it. No sorry for the delay. I work away a lot for business and this was for the star of the hotel extremely substandard.
The room was nice, clean and the bed was comfortable. But with basic tea and coffee options for a spa hotel did not seem to live up to other Spa Hotels by far....shortbread biscucuits did not make up for that. No phone in the room and no room service available.
Would I stay again no sadly. I didn't feel service from check in to check out was welcoming. Or informative, had to ask for details and just given an A4 photocopy of what's available, I have added my photos of the poor bar food. I am sorry if it comes across as a moan. I am usually an up beat person.
The location and surrounding area.
Didn’t seem to be enough staff to allow them to interact with guests beyond the shortest exchange. Even though we informed the hotel at the time of booking that it was our 40th wedding anniversary this was not acknowledged in any way during our stay.
Clean, quiet and a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy your self. I will gladly do it again and again.

Our room got cancelled due the the hotel over booking on rooms

Arrived to find that there was not a room for us. Had no notification from booking.com or the hotel.
We had made the reservation six months in advance, the hotel switched us to another one 30 minute drive away.
Whole weekend was ruined.
Nice area, good food clean comfy standard rooms.
We had hand wash for shampoo
Food was good as was the room and facilities.
Reception staff were excellent
Air conditioning failed in the barn which meant we had to vacate.
Bar for residents closed to early at 11am.
Bar food was good but had to wait 45min to be served up
