Friendly staff, comfortable room, loved the artwork everywhere, good location
It's originally Kool stuff and a wonderful staff that made staying there was incredible! It was the that just took me to another place of the day's peace.

Everything,
Nothing not yo like
The entire staff was outstanding! I selected this hotel for the atmosphere, and I was not disappointed. The sketch book in my room was an unexpected pleasure. Great value!
The staff went well beyond expectations. We went to celebrate my mom’s retirement by traveling on an Amtrak train from New Orleans to Pennsylvania. Once we were in Lancaster we chose this lovely hotel for our stay. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in all aspects. My aunt has stage 4 cancer and had many issues, but they didn’t mind going the extra mile to help us. The manager stayed in touch with us daily to make sure we were all okay and enjoying our stay. She even left a few goodie bags in our hotel for choosing to stay there. Everyone was so helpful with advice and all so friendly. I wish all hotel staff were this amazing. I travel a lot for our business, and in all my years of stays (which are usually 2-5 day stays), I’ve never met a staff that were so friendly, helpful, and amazing as this crew. The owner should be very proud to have such an awesome staff! That includes the maids, helpers, desk clerk, manager, as well as the restaurant and bar staff. I highly recommend this place if you’re traveling through and need a place to stay for the night or even the week. It’s worth the money and the people are awesome!
The parking garage is kind of closed in and isn’t a place to wonder alone especially at night. I myself didn’t have any issues, it’s just as all females it made me feel uncomfortable. But me and my sister went together as a pair to load our luggage and then we drove to the front to pick up my mom and aunt. Just for safety reasons. But overall we didn’t have any issues. I just would recommend a double up when going to the car and coming from it if you’re a lady. Otherwise, I really have no complaints.
1. How close it was to town.
2. Breakfast included.
3. Restaurant was excellent!
4. Clean.
1. Hard to find dinner on a Monday.
2. Front desk directions to places weren't always clear.
3. Parking was confusing.
4. Slight sewage smell, intermittent.
The robes are nice. However they need to order plus sized robes. The robes fit a small thru large
Great Spot to stay in the area.
Friendly service. Wonderful hotel bar and restaurant.
Downtown Lancaster is a mini Philadelphia. Great restaurants, shopping and things to do in the area.
The rooms are clean and well done. Loved all the art decorating the walls.
We will definitely stay again!
The hotel is in a great location with covered parking. It is beautifully decorated, clean, and very comfortable. There are special touches that you don't see in other hotels (bottled still water, fluffy robes, and great bathroom amenities). The staff is very courteous and happy. Although we were only there for one night, I felt like I was on vacation because of our stay there. This place has a very cool vibe. You'll love it!
Everything
Nothing
That the hotel is a renovated factory
Didn’t like breakfast-rubbery fruit and powdered eggs
We had a great time. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room and any public space that we were in were very clean and well maintained. Love the Vibe of the hotel! The food at John J. Jeffries Restaurant was awesome. Waitstaff were very attentive. A Special shout out to David our waiter, who went out of his way to give us some places to visit while in the area. We will be back!! Thank you
The location was perfect to attend our friend 50th birthday extravaganza. Plus it was the cheapest (by $100!!) compared to other hotels my friend had recommend in the area.
It was quiet, and the art had me stopping every few steps on the way to our room. Even the furniture in the lobby was show stopping to me!
We arrived very late, and there was a young gentleman there, very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.
-We’re also avid concert goers, especially the band Phish, I have seen them over 300 times. In the elevator we instantly noticed a customers drawing hanging that was Phish related. (THAT made me beyond intrigued and happy, too. - see attached photo)!!
The room itself was inviting, had everything we could have needed and then some. I like the temperature to be freeing cold, and when I turned on the AC to 66° it stayed that temp for the entire night. There was also a paper pad with pencils and pens that we could have used to make art for the hotel to frame and hang if we wanted to.
Could not be happier with our one night experience, would definitely recommend to anyone else AND stay there again if we visit Lancaster again.
We had an undisturbed, comfortable, AND COLD, good nights sleep before our 3.5 hour drive back home. 👍🏻👍🏻💯
Great building, art, etc.
We were at this property 15 years ago and it hasn’t been updated since. It’s a little tired… rugs, broken blinds
This is a very quaint place to stay. It is in a good walkable location in downtown Lancaster. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I stay here quite often and the rooms on the lower levels have a lot of street noise.
