Pleasant stay.
Pros:

Location, and nice seating area in the middle, on each floor

Cons:

The breakfast, lots of varieties, almost too many varieties. Better to focus on good quality. Coffee beans are very average. Gym and pool are in a different building across the street.

A Rare Classic Beauty
Pros:

It’s a classic, full of that old Shanghai style. It’s a little oasis in the otherwise crowded and bustling glass and steels of modern Shanghai. It’s beautiful in a quiet way from a quieter era. The location could not have been better. Right in the center of the best areas but hidden just a few steps into a deeply treelined street. Rooms are big, bigger than expected in Shanghai where real estate is at a premium. You get history, comfort and convenience all in one place. We’d stay here again in a heart beat

Cons:

We got our morning coffee across the street at Peet’s. If there was an option to get a cup of coffee without the breakfast buffet, it would be a dream. The courtyard in the front is a perfect spot to sit and sip a cup of coffee while watching people going about their lives in the morning rush

Elegant, comfortable, high-class service & staff.
Pros:

The location is excellent - in the heart of the beautiful French Concession area. The are has lots of nice cafes, and shops and is just beautiful to walk around. The room was spacious, clean, and very elegant.

Cons:

Nothing to add here - everything surpassed our expectations.
