Our hotel operates a strict No Smoking policy. As of July 1st 2007, smoking in any public place is against the law. This also includes hotel guest rooms that have been designated nonsmoking rooms. The room was hot the first night the next day we notified the front desk abc it was fixed. The bathroom had a leak in the ceiling; we did notify the front desk. We attempted to get service in the hotel lobby but sat there for 20 minutes and no one came to service us.

The sound proofing could be improved…I could hear the room above me and people in the hallway during the night. The location is really convenient for the station, but the area is not very nice at all and feels a bit dodgy at night

cable tv was not working and they offered us complimentary room to be used for the first day which was very appreciated but for the second day neither was offered
The hotel itself was clean, modern, well maintained, and conveniently located close to the train station. Once we were moved to a room with a more suitable layout for our family, the room met our needs and we had no issues with the facilities.
I would particularly like to mention Soma, who provided excellent customer service at check-in. He was professional, understanding, and solution-focused from the moment we arrived. When we explained our situation, he listened, treated us with respect, and worked to find a practical solution rather than focusing solely on problems. His professionalism made a positive difference to our stay and reflects the level of customer service I would expect from a hotel.
The hotel is located close to the train station in an area that felt somewhat run down, with a noticeable presence of homeless individuals nearby. While this is outside the hotel's control, it did make walking back to the hotel in the evening with young children feel a little unsettling.
Unfortunately, the positive experience we had initially was significantly overshadowed by later interactions with a member of staff, Aisha. Communication felt unnecessarily confrontational and lacked the professionalism, understanding, and customer-focused approach demonstrated by other members of the team.
Although a booking discrepancy had already been acknowledged from our side and we had offered to cover any additional costs if required, the matter continued to be repeatedly raised throughout our stay and again after check-out, which felt unnecessary.
What was particularly disappointing was the communication style throughout. Rather than focusing on practical solutions for a travelling family, the interaction felt defensive and focused on policy enforcement. Comments were also made regarding our children and sleeping arrangements, which we felt were inappropriate, unprofessional, and unrelated to resolving the matter at hand.
Overall, the hotel itself was perfectly acceptable, but the inconsistency in customer service significantly affected our impression of the stay and ultimately reduced what would otherwise have been a much more positive experience.

The location is close to train station like 5 min walk. We forgot AirPods and they contacted us regarding it the same day.
The hotel provides water and muffins at the reception counter for guest. The hotel is near to train station, subway station and car rental services. The breakfast is great too.
Great hotel fairly recently refurbished, very handy location for onward journeys from Brussels midi via the Eurostar

We had a room on the 5th/6th floor and didn't sleep very well as all we could hear off and on was chairs/tables or something being dragged across a hard floor.
Unsure if either there's a storage room next door or above or what but kept waking us up all hours of the night. We have stayed at the hotel before with no issue so unsure where the noise was coming from but just some constructive feedback

Отличный отель возле вокзала Bruxelles midi. Очень удобное расположение. До центра и всех основных достопримечательностей пешком идти минут 15-20. Отель/номер в хорошем состоянии, идеальная чистота.
