A luxurious experience close to Norwich
Pros:

Great location for Norwich and the surrounding area.

Cons:

We appreciate lights are in place for security but darkness would have been amazing in the setting.

Spacious room and bathroom, very well equipped- ironing board, two fans, tissues, fridge etc Large, comfortable bed

Cons:

It was rather noisy as there were weddings on 2 of our 3 night stay so we could hear the music beat up till midnight. But I suppose that couldn't be helped.

The hotel itself, especially the building and the outside entrance is beautiful. Everything inside looked super nice, and presentable.

Cons:

I feel like it is overpriced for what it is. When we went the spa was out of order which we had no notice about, and thats a little bit disappointing when you're going to a SPA hotel. I also feel like the breakfast was overpriced, and i think for what you pay it should be included in the price. There was also a fair bit of mould on our hotel window, which was quite shocking when we initially thought this seemed like a fancy hotel.

Good location to have days out to any local beaches, overall the hotel was quite dated and could do with a good decorate

Cons:

Quite dated and a bit grubby, carpets looked like they had never been hoovered. Not enough towels in our family room (only 2 for 4 people had to request more), disappointed that the room wasn’t cleaned for the second day of our stay.

Pros:

Lovely old building and well kept grounds with a golf course. Friendly staff.

Cons:

The room was a little small. But reception apologised in advance as they were full the weekend we arrived.

We had huge spiders & bugs flying into the room in the night, so we had to close the windows on a hot night.

Room was nice and spacious. Bathroom was clean.

Cons:

Room walls were really thin and I could hear a little little toddler called Billy throwing a tantrum for over an hour and then the grandad snoring.

Bad experience. Never again
Cons:

Absolute absence of customer service. I unintentionally left two items in the room after check out. Called the hotel the same day, left the phone number to have them call back. Arrived at the hotel the next morning. Was asked to wait for 10 minutes, and after 20 minutes was told nobody has any time to check the room for left and lost property. The receptionist told me they will call me, without even asking me for my number/ or making any notes. They definitely do not value guests there.
