What was meant to be a special weekend celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday turned into a very disappointing experience. After returning to the hotel at around 5:00 PM, we were informed that there was a power outage affecting the entire property. We left for several hours hoping the issue would be resolved, but when we returned at approximately 11:40 PM—almost 7 hours later—the hotel was still in complete darkness.

We were forced to climb six floors via emergency stairs with no visible emergency lighting, pack our belongings using mobile phone flashlights, and relocate to another hotel late at night. Communication from staff was poor and inconsistent throughout, and our confirmed birthday dinner reservation had already been cancelled. The lack of preparation, support, and concern for guest safety was shocking and completely ruined what should have been a memorable milestone celebration.

Pros:

Great place to stay to discover Luxembourg. Amazing hospitality, reception staff and staff at the restaurant were great, very attentive and accommodating. Facilities itself were excellent, I had an upgrade, room was big, great views, and at the same time very quiet.
Great quality breakfast - also with a great view!

Cons:

Durante o nosso penúltimo dia de estadia, o hotel ficou completamente sem eletricidade. Como consequência, fomos transferidos para outro hotel, mas de categoria inferior (3 estrelas).

Até hoje não recebemos qualquer explicação adequada nem qualquer compensação financeira, apesar da diferença evidente na qualidade do alojamento pelo qual tínhamos pago.

Compreendemos que se trata de uma situação excecional e fora do comum, mas consideramos que o hotel não geriu o problema da melhor forma. No final, fomos nós os prejudicados, sem qualquer solução ou compensação justa.
