The room had a musty smell and the air con didn’t work well.
This hotel has an excellent location in the old town. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was good, and the enclosed garden is lovely to sit in for breakfast or to enjoy a glass of wine. There's a limited bar service, but a corkscrew/ bottle opener and wine glasses are provided in the room so you can buy something in one of the little supermarkets and bring it back to the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The shower was spacious and the water pressure good.
A fridge in the room would have been nice. The bar and garden closed at 9.30pm and we would have liked to sit out for longer on a warm evening. The toilet seat in our bathroom was not fixed to the base properly (sitting down was a bit of an adventure!) and we did report it but it didn't get fixed while we were there.

Sehr gute und ruhige Lage direkt in der Altstadt, allerdings nicht direkt mit dem Auto erreichbar (als Bahnreisende kein Problem für uns). Historisches Gebäude mit Charme. Sehr freundliches Personal. Schöner Garten im Innenhof (leider hat's geregnet!).
Das Bad war über eine Innentreppe erreichbar - das hat uns nicht gestört, könnte aber ggf. ein Problem sein.

This is in a great location, right in the old town. Staff were very friendly and let us check in early.

The hotel is situated right in the heart of the old town with the bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. We only stayed one night at the hotel due to our travel plans so we didn't get the opportunity to make the most of all the amenities. Although we were there for a short time we were really struck at how friendly and helpful the staff were, even calling me after we checked out as we'd left our passports in the room safe!! We were given clear help on which tram to take to get to the station and the staff made us feel really important to them. The room was spotless and the bed was soooo comfortable! We had a room overlooking the alley above the main entrance but didn't have any issues with noise outside. I woud 100% recommend staying at Hotel Beigli and we both wish we'd stayed at least another night.

Breakfast was below average, breakfast staff spoke absolutely no english (in a totally touristry spot) , no refrigerator in my room (which you find even in the cheapest hotels), despite the high price, and although tbey promised to bring me one, they didn't
