The poo nice for childrenl and breakfast staff were great.
Appliances need to be replaced. The microwave in room 218 was a bit rusty and flaky.
Hotel carino, con zona piscina molto piacevole, ma molto veccio nelle rifiniture... Sarebbe necessaria una bella ristrutturazione interna ed esterna (intonaci che si sgretolano, qualche rubinetteria arruginita)... Alcune stanze con vista non adeguata... Colazione buona e completa...
E' una struttura da riammodernare e da ristrutturare in più parti...

1. I did not like that the bar,restaurant and pool closes as early as 5pm and 7pm though guess check in is at 4pm so if ur flight comes in 5 u can’t get anything to drink or eat.
2. The rooms need some updating and the television should be smart in these modern days.
3. Better WiFi connections as you only get it in front the hotel and in rooms, when u enter the restaurant is like a dead zone.
4. On our first night the ac needing servicing this should have been done before your guess arrived we had to be relocated to another room which was very stuffy felt like it had not been aired out.
5. There should be something else for mosquitoes instead of spraying the rooms because it makes some people cough.

I’ve stayed at Sun Bay Hotel several times for business, and overall the experience remains quite average. The hotel is noticeably dated and really needs repairs and upgrades to reach a higher standard. Service is fine, but nothing stands out.
The restaurant continues to be the weakest part of the stay. Breakfast is acceptable, but dinner has consistently been very poor. During every visit, I ended up going to nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner because the on‑site dining simply isn’t good.
It’s also important to note that the hotel does not have its own beach. You need to walk roughly 100 metres to reach the nearest one, which may be inconvenient for anyone expecting direct beachfront access.
Additionally, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families with children. The furniture is very old and quite primitive, and the bed is not comfortable. Overall comfort is lacking, especially for longer stays or for guests who need a more modern, family‑friendly environment.
For short business trips, the hotel is manageable, but I wouldn’t choose it for personal travel or leisure.
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were absolutely exceptional—warm, welcoming, professional and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and valued throughout our stay.
Their friendly attitude and genuine care made such a positive first impression and really contributed to making our experience so enjoyable. It was clear that excellent customer service is a priority for the hotel.
A special thank you to the reception team for their kindness, efficiency and outstanding hospitality. They are a real credit to the hotel, and we would happily return. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the restaurant and dining options at the hotel. I was under the impression that there would be a restaurant or room service available throughout the day. However, the restaurant closed at 2:30pm and the bar closed at 4:00pm, which was very inconvenient, particularly when there were limited alternative food options available.
Breakfast was good when it was offered as a self-service buffet. However, at the beginning of my stay, when there were very few guests at the hotel, I found the staff rather unwilling to make small changes to the set breakfast menu. For example, when I asked if I could have bacon instead of eggs, this was not accommodated.
Overall, I feel the dining facilities and flexibility could be improved considerably. Given the standard of the hotel and the excellent reception staff, I expected the restaurant and food service to provide a similar level of customer service.
The room was exceptionally comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was excellent every day was something new.
I didn't like that I wasn't able to see the sea properly.
Seeing as this occurred I would have preferred a pool and garden view.
