Clean, comfortable stay in a great location
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at Siesta Hotel overall. On arrival, the receptionist gave us a complimentary mocktail, which was a really nice welcome. She was extremely helpful and kindly moved us from a room up the steep hill to one lower down because I had a broken toe and lots of luggage. They also stored our luggage after check-out on our final day, which was very convenient.
The room was basic but modern, very clean, and the air conditioning worked brilliantly. The shower always had hot water, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

There were a few minor issues. The fridge freezes food and drinks unless it's on the lowest setting. There were some loose telephone wires hanging from the wall behind the bedside dresser, and the room phone didn't work or have a reception number. One day housekeeping removed our dirty towels but forgot to replace them, which was frustrating after returning from the beach ready for a shower. However, reception apologised immediately and sent fresh towels straight away.
We had lunch on arrival and really enjoyed the roti, and the lady serving us was lovely. We also tried breakfast another morning, but unfortunately the younger member of staff seemed quite unfriendly, so after that we chose to eat elsewhere.

This is more of an apartment-style property than a traditional hotel, so don't expect entertainment or lots of on-site facilities.

The location is excellent. Shops are around a 5-minute walk away, KFC is about 7 minutes, Grand Anse Beach is around 10-15 minutes on foot, and beautiful BBC Beach is also nearby. The No. 1 local bus stops near the Wall Street roundabout about 5 minutes away and is a very cheap way to get into town. We also used Haylup, which worked well if you prefer a taxi-style service.

Overall, we had a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned stay with friendly and helpful reception staff. Despite a few small maintenance and housekeeping issues, we'd happily stay here again. It offers good value for money and is a great base for exploring Grenada.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Siesta Hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, and the views from both our room and the terrace were absolutely stunning.
There is also a supermarket nearby, which was very convenient for picking up a few essentials on the way back. The swimming pool was always crystal clear and spotless, making it a lovely place to relax.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole hotel was comfortable and well maintained. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring we had a great night's sleep every night.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Siesta Hotel to anyone visiting Grenada. We would definitely love to come back!
