The location was excellent though there was limited parking options - it took some time to drive around the carpark before finding the 'green' sign that indicated I could park there. Once parked however, the staff were great and allowed me to leave my car parked there till after my work meetings were finished which was very helpful.
I had to use the hotspot on my phone to access the internet as no Wi-Fi password was provided. I arrived late and got the key from the lock box so perhaps this was missing accidentally. Other than that the apartment was great.
Location amazing large rooms and sound proof

The condition of MacArthur Chambers was far below expectations and not as described.
Serious issues included: no internet for 7 days, no TV for 7 days, brown water from taps, poor cleanliness, stains and mold concerns, and cluttered, unorganised common areas.
From the beginning, communication was inconsistent and unreliable. George initially promised a room change, early checkout, and a full refund for unused nights, but this was later changed and withdrawn. I was misled regarding what had been agreed by George, and his communication was unprofessional and not truthful. I was later told a “verbal agreement is not an agreement,” despite earlier clear assurances.
Management, including Julia, was unresponsive throughout the stay and ignored repeated complaints via Booking.com and directly. No resolution or written confirmation of refund was provided.
Staff were unprofessional and not identifiable, and room access was sometimes disrupted without proper notice or coordination.
Overall, the property was not fit for purpose and management failed in service, communication, and accountability. The property does not reflect hotel standards and is closer to a rooming house, significantly below even 2 -star standart.
Location was perfect.

Location is excellent. Great size apartment.
Spa/bath/shower was very high and difficult for older persons to get into and out of.

Everything was great
Location
The dishwasher was broken and the dryer and the lifts took longer than normal especially when the museum was open. Also only one lift goes to the carpark and one has to swap at ground floor if serviced by the other lift.
nice
middle city is really near for everyhing i really like it
Very convenient central location in the city and only a short walk to Central Station. Spacious apartment style accommodation. Reasonable value.
The apartment on level 1 was a little dark and was looking tired eg the carpet needs replacement. The pool and other facilities were closed for maintenance but I knew that in advance.
The appartment was very good. We were in 303 which looked over the Queen Street Mall. The door to the second bedroom was damaged and need replacing but otherwise everything in the unit was very good. Our problem was the parking. We went out at 6pm and the gentleman at reception said the swipe cards did not always work so he gave us a fob that was supposed to work. When we came back at around 10pm we could not get back into the parking. Neither the swipe cards nor the fob opened the parking gate. We had to wait until someone exited the car park and the door lifted before we could enter the parking. This was a very negative experience for us. We could not contact a parking attendant to get into the Secure Parking. You have to get into the Secure Parking from the street then go down to Parking Level 3 and use your swipe card to get into the MacArthur Chambers Park. The swipe worked once we were in the Secure Parking and were getting into the MacArthur Chambers Park. Finally it is a first in first served situation in MacArthur Chambers Park so it is not as though you get a park because you have a room. There were only 3 guest parks that I saw. I throughly recomment this accomodation if you don't have a car but if you want parking another place would be more suitable.
The Parking situation was not ideal.
Very well located just minutes or a short walk from everything.
The wifi wasn’t good possibly because it was an historic solid sandstone building.
Great location and beautiful space. Very comfortable.
My last night there - the council did planned road works directly outside the space, which they would have been advised of ahead of time and did not pass on the warning - nor provide a discounted rate. $600
Per night and a disrupted last nights sleep, without warning - is unacceptable in my view. The dishwasher was out of order, which was ok as I stayed a short time and hand washed but would have been frustrating for a longer stay. The gym / pool were being refurbished - we were advised ahead of time so no problem.
