Interesting host and good value for money.
Pros:

Great comfort and cooking.

Cons:

Fire alarm went off during shower. Fiore brigade had to be called. There was a warning in the kitchen but not about the shower being an issue....our fault??

Pros:

The Manager is awesomely unique just like his Hotel. Loved his character a true blue Australian at his finest.

Business trip to Cairns and surrounding area.
Pros:

Location and room were well appointed. Comfortable lounge and massive TV. Getting into the parking and room was very easy and the place was secure.

Clean, convenient and comfortable accommodation with extremely kind and helpful staff.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient for exploring Cairns.
The best part was the staff. They were very kind, patient and helpful, especially when we needed to store our luggage. They were flexible and understanding, which made our day much easier.
We truly appreciated the help and would be very happy to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Comfortable safe and Pleasant stay 😊
Pros:

From arriving to departing our stay was awesome the manager Warren was such a blessing he m as made sure we were well looked after thank you Warren definitely be staying there again. We felt comfortable and safe and the location is close to shopping centre and casino

Pros:

Lovely location and an eclectic hotel. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Has all the necessary amenities and a car park. I didn't use the pool however

Cons:

Oldish furniture, no room service for the three nights I spent here. Also there were no staff on Sunday at checkout to store your baggage.

Could have been a great stay
Pros:

Location was close to the convention centre, which was an important part as this was a business trip.
Close to the city, but this is applicable to other place to stay nearby as well.
Air-con was functioning well. Small bedroom had a table fan.
Had small packs of shampoo, conditioner, coffee, tea and sugar as well as 2 packets of milk in the fridge, which was handy.

Cons:

Reception was not open at 4pm, getting into the building was tricky initially.
The advertisement mentioned availability of laundry detergent but this was not the case when I contacted reception.
The price paid was fairly dear for the state of the unit, >$200/night. Bathroom looked run down.
I requested a receipt/invoice twice , yet to get one as this was a business trip.
