It was clean and the bed and the pillows very comfortable and it was great that there was a bath tub and not just a shower, which seems to be a problem with so many hotel rooms, even the nicer ones. There was a decent bar/reataurant in the building and food places within walking distance, though there wasn’t enough Vegan/Vegetarian food with the right amount of protein on any of the menus.
There wasn’t anything not to like.
I was extremely disappointed with this visit. Twice I was awoken by staff knocking on my door. Wish I could be reimbursed. very disappointed in my stay.
I have stayed here several times recently, and every experience has been wonderful. The staff throughout the hotel have been friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Each time we visited, the team was very accommodating with our room location requests, which made our stays even more enjoyable.
A special thank you to the team at the Starbucks inside the hotel!! During my stay, they remembered my order and went out of their way to make sure I had my coffee while I was working through back-to-back meetings. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made a busy workday so much easier! The level of attention, kindness, and personalized service really stood out and made me feel valued as a guest.

Restaurant employees they are excellent—great service, everything is delicious, and they are super respectful. Rosie is excellent; she is very friendly and makes delicious coffee.
Everyone was amazing! We were in for a funeral and we had a great experience. Definitely coming back when in town.
Shout out to Naomi & Rosie at the Bistro. They were super attentive, friendly and mostly patient since we were 8ppl.
Jay at the desk was helpful and even let us borrow a pillow to make the wheel chair more comfortable for our uncle to endure the funeral services.

Ok some less expensive options would be nice. The girl at the front desk in the evening was exceptionaly helpful and nice.

My husband and I visit the Moorpark/Thousand Oaks area 4 to 6 times a year. Our son and his family live in the area and we drive up from San Diego to visit. We tried this location since it was close to the hospital where our Grand-Daughter was being born. We were very happy with our choice. The rooms are very nice, (we opted for the suite this time). Very clean, and very quiet. Having a sink and microwave in the coffee area was a plus. They have this in all the rooms, not just the Suites. They had the table that pulled out from under the desk area, giving us a spacious eating/work area. The lighting was great and the air conditioner worked well and wasn’t too loud. The windows open slightly which I like because I do like fresh air. The water pressure was good for California, and was better than most. They have a breakfast and evening food and drink option, which looked good. Yet the bonus was the restaurants that were within less than a block walking distance. We were there for three days and had In & Out, Spumoni Italian Restaurant (delicious), and Patron (excellent guacamole!). Next month when we will be back, we plan to check out Holdren’s Steak & Seafood, which also offers an interesting Happy Hour menu. The Tesla charging station was only about 4 miles away. Though we didn’t use it this trip, the pool area is very nice. The Exercise Room was being renovated, but I am looking forward to the upgrade. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and are seriously considering making this hotel our go to when we visit. Being Marriott Platinum, we do like the other Marriotts/Sheratons in the area. Yet this location had that “feels like home” I’ve experienced when driving cross country and staying in numerous Marriotts. I think we met the Manager, who checked us out and he was very kind and sincere.
This is a home away from home. The staff is just unbelievably wonderful. I would give them 10 stars if I could Mohammad, Jonny, Vish, and one other gentleman anyways can’t think of his name right now. They just cannot be more accommodating. I had a bad trip down apparently hadn’t confirmed my reservation. Jonny took such good care of me. Gave me a fantastic room. The hotel is clean. The rooms are clean. Location is great. i’ve never been to a hotel where I could tell that the gentleman I’ll take pride in their service. It’s very unique.
Freeway noise, bug in bed, failure to make up room , when reminded. Some one came, made up only one bed. Closet door wouldn’t move, no fan in bathroom
