We love our staycation at the Battlehouse! This was our first time doing the coed spa night on a Thursday night and we loved it. It had been a very stressful week for us so we needed it. The only tricky thing is navigating overnight parking at parking decks downtown as it is a weeknight. I had moved my car twice and couldn’t find the right parking deck , so we ended up just doing valet parking. Thank you to Josh the poor valet worker who witnessed a complete emotional
come-apart and comforted me anyway.
We loved the spa and the room service!
Very clean
Parking
This hotel is rich with history and absolutely beautiful! they were in the middle of some restoration work when we visited but you could still walk around and explore the hotel. The pool was very nice with a pool side bar and super helpful staff. Jennifer in the trellis dinning area was amazing. unexpectedly good prices to have a meal there as well. we had 3 couples and we were able to get 3 rooms that joined together which was really cool.
Wonderful welcome with lavender gin drink with ice on a hot afternoon .
Substantial foyer and excellent guest service on arrival .
Very comfortable room and bed.
Great swimming pool area in the other building .
Great guidance to dining in a Michelin restaurant along the road.
Inconvenient having to go to other building to use the pool.
I cannot recommend Isaac Hilton highly enough. I’ve had several massages with him, both at the spa where he previously worked and now at the spa in the Battle House, and he continues to exceed my expectations every single time.
Isaac has an incredible attention to detail and truly listens to his clients. He takes the time to understand your concerns, customize each session to your needs, and make sure you’re comfortable throughout the entire experience. His skill, knowledge, and technique are exceptional, and I always leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and noticeably better than when I arrived.
Beyond his talent, Isaac is genuinely kind, polite, and highly professional. He creates a welcoming, comfortable environment that immediately puts you at ease, and it’s clear that he genuinely cares about providing the best possible experience for every client.
If you’re looking for a massage therapist who is attentive, compassionate, and consistently delivers outstanding results, Isaac Hilton is the one to book. I followed him from his previous spa to the Battle House because he’s simply that good, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my massage therapy needs. Highly recommended!
It’s gorgeous, the staff was amazing!

We had a one-night staycation at the Battle house hotel. This is Mobile's nicest hotel. We stayed on the historical side of the hotel. Currently the hotel is renovating the tower rooms. I have always liked the historical side rooms better however if you want a view of the rive get a tower room. The staff that we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. We got an upgraded room on the executive floor. Our room was clean. large and was very nice. The executive lounge is not open on Saturday night but was open Sunday morning. The lounge is small but had a nice selection for breakfast. We ate at the trellis room for breakfast. It was really good. My wife had pancakes to order and an omelet. I ate from the buffet which was really good. The Buffett is $25 per person. The Battle House is a great place to stay.
Lovely facilities and great attentive staff. Also a great breakfast
Proximity to conference center
Misleading
we booked a Queen Corner Suite with a river view. We were pleasantly surprised to find this room also had a balcony! The river traffic (tugs, barges, and more) was enjoyable to watch. Also the many freight trains going by. We came from the Amtrak station after having taken the Mardi Gras Service from New Orleans. The Battle House was an easy walk from the train station even with luggage. Be sure to ask about the "Whispering Columns" in the historic section of the hotel. Pretty cool.
