During my trip to Tokyo, I stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo, perched high above the city with spectacular views of the skyline. The reception is located on the 45th floor, offering an impressive welcome from the moment you arrive.

The attentive and welcoming staff made an excellent first impression, greeting me warmly and providing thoughtful service throughout my stay. My room was spacious, immaculate, and beautifully appointed, with a breathtaking view even of Mount Fuji. I also appreciated the lovely welcome amenities.

Breakfast was exceptionally well organized, with a wide variety of à la carte and buffet options to suit every preference. The spa, complete with a swimming pool and panoramic views, was another highlight.

Overall, The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo provided a truly luxurious experience in the heart of the city.

Great large rooms, breakfast variety can improve

Just spent 5 nights at this opulent and beautiful property in late July for a family trip. It was our first time in Tokyo and we appreciated the very helpful and courteous staff.

Right off the bat, we appreciated having a separate check-in on the 53rd club floor which saved us time and hassle after a very long flight in from Toronto. The club lounge staff was incredible - Hemant, Toshi and all the others including some attentive and courteous service from the chefs as he had some dietary restrictions and allergies to navigate. The lounge itself has an amazing atmosphere with some great views of the city.

The gym is well equipped but can get a little tight in the free weight section. All equipment looks brand new and they seemed to have a lot. Both gym and pool area were well attended and very well maintained. The heat experience section is a must.

In terms of location, we were walking distance to a couple of key subway stations and had some nearby shopping as well. We had a situation outside the hotel and we greatly appreciated the assistance the bell staff provided. While sight seeing my son left his mobile phone in a Uber taxi. We were unable to contact the driver directly (in North America this feature is available) and we were unable to navigate the central Tokyo Taxi number as there was no answer. We called the hotel and were put through to the bell desk. Sandesh who was on duty managed the communication with Tokyo Taxi and was able to confirm the phone had been left in the taxi after 2 hours, which provided some reassurance. He continued to call and coordinated a pick up when the office opened at 6 am the next day -- this quick response helped us as we were to fly out early afternoon.

Overall, a beautiful property with staff that goes above and beyond and meets our expectations of what a Ritz stay should be like.

This was a fantastic experience at this well maintained property. Everything is near by like shops, restaurants and a mall. This hotel offers an absolute high level of costumer service.The rooms are in an immaculate clean conditions. The beds are absolutely comfortable and the breakfast is of an absolutely high quality.
A very special thank you to the Russian speaking lady Amira. While away on daily business trips she took very well care of my mother. She was 24/7 available and helpful even in her time off. Outstanding job by Amira!
She was a great help to me and my mother. The service of her and other staff members makes this property very special!

We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo in July 2025 and had a very enjoyable one-night stay.

The hotel has an excellent location in Tokyo Midtown, with convenient access to shopping, restaurants and public transportation. Despite being in a busy part of Tokyo, the atmosphere inside the hotel felt calm, elegant and refined.

Our room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The high-floor setting provided impressive views across Tokyo and made the room feel removed from the activity of the city below. The room and bathroom were both well maintained, with the quality and amenities we expected from a Ritz-Carlton property.

The service throughout our short stay was professional, polished and attentive. Everything was handled smoothly, and the overall experience felt luxurious without being overly formal.

The hotel is in a premium price category, but the location, views, room quality and level of service made it a memorable stay. We would happily return for a longer visit.
