loved the historic vibe. Black and white framed prints of "old" San Diego line the halls. Instead of room numbers, all the rooms are named after famous San Diego neighborhoods. I stayed in the Del Coronado! My room was spacious,. clean and comfortable. Very "old school" hotel vibe. Could picture Dashiel Hammett staying here on his way back from a bender in Tijuana.
The coffee. Taster's Choice? Seriously? Ha ha there's a great coffee roaster right now the street,. I'm sure they'd LOVE for you to feature their coffee in your lobby for guests!
Felt safe, it’s historic and unique, prime location, affordable.
Old smell in rooms, creaky, needs minor touch ups, but that is a given because it’s literally old.
Room was comfortable. Karen ( host)
Was curious and friendly no fridge or microwave.
No fridge or microwave.
It’s not far from restaurants and bars
The environment, the helpfulness, and the professionalism of the staff
The size of the room. I'm 6"6' and a little more area space would have been nice but this will not prevent me from staying again and again at this Hotel.
Bed is comfortable and parking is very convenient.
It is an old room, the smell is not great and some parts of the bathroom have seen better times. Bathroom is tiny and not very comfortable. The light in the bathroom turns off every 2 minutes which is very very inconvenient if you’re trying to shower at night, even dangerous.
Friendly staff.
Great location
Very comfortable
Clean
Friendypl place
The staff was very nice
The bed was not the most comfortable
Woman at front desk was
exceptional. Room great and bed very comfy. Close parking. All very quiet. We've been here before and will be back!
Can't think of anything I didn't like.
I like that they have done a very good good job on up keeping the hotel. The room names are unique and they bring the history of the area. It is located in a great area where you will find lots of restaurants and stores walking distance.
Older hotel that is well kept. Bed super clean and comfy. Has a historic vibe.
The property is goo over all for this price point.
