Front desk were friendly and helpful. We would stay again and book directly with hotel.
Pros:

Breakfast was good/average. The staff did keep the food hot and replenished. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful during our stay when we had questions.
We liked the fact that the room had a separate bedroom and facilities for cooking. it was spacious and comfortable. The location was good near lots of restaurants and shopping.

Cons:

The hotel was crowded with large groups of families for softball tournaments. During breakfast, small children under 6 years old running all over, touching the food. No one noticed, not the parents or the staff, who were mostly invisible until replenishing the food bar. The breakfast area was also seating for the restaurant. We were never able to access the restaurant because of large parties of people occupying the area in the afternoon and evenings with their own pizzas and drinks. One could not even walk through to the restaurant or bar due to the number of people seated and standing around eating and drinking their own food. Signs all around this area stated no food from outside was permitted. Yet even at breakfast, people were making their own mimosas at their tables, in spite of the bar located in this area. We did not ask, but no one in the reservations staff informed us about the unavailability of this area during our stay. Also, paid parking was a surprise for an outdoor parking lot.

Great place for an overnight prior to going to airport.
Pros:

Good place to stay for an overnight before going to airport. The shuttle to the airport is very convinient and reliable. The staff was Great. Clean rooms and common areas. The only bad part about the hotel is the location. It is a safe area, but there is very little near walking distance of the hotel. In order to go to the nearest plaza with a restaurant you need to walk over 1/2 mile and cross two major street with car exiting and entering the highway. Otherwise your food options are the hotel bar, or the next door gas station.

Cons:

Location to restaurants or food options not great if you don't have a car.

A Welcoming, Pet-Friendly Hotel Stay Near IAD - Hyatt House Sterling is Excellent
Pros:

Traveling for a week with a pet can be stressful, but at the Hyatt House Sterling/Dulles Airport, I was welcomed with open arms by a wonderful staff. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from IAD Airport, making it very convenient for travelers. Even if you do not have a car, there is a Sheetz convenience store and gas station located in the same lot as the Hyatt House, which makes it easy to pick up snacks, drinks, and other necessities. After a long drive, I walked into the hotel and was greeted by staff members who went above and beyond to find me a room that met my needs. When I entered the room, I was pleased to find a full-size refrigerator, a nice kitchen, a plush king bed, a huge sofa bed, and quite possibly the fastest wireless internet I have experienced at a hotel. I especially appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi because I had several Zoom meetings with clients during my stay. There were also several HBO channels on the television, which were nice to have in the evenings. While the room was lovely, I also enjoyed using the fitness room, which had free weights, cardio machines, and a Peloton. There is also a guest laundry room, which was a huge plus during a weeklong stay. Although I did not use the outdoor pool, it looked very clean and seemed to be enjoyed by many happy guests. The lobby also has a small market with snacks, drinks, sundries, and other convenient items. The complimentary breakfast was another nice benefit and included a variety of hot and cold items. I enjoyed the eggs, fruit, toast, and waffles, but there were plenty of additional options available. The hotel offered everything I needed to feel comfortable and productive while traveling with my pet. All in all, the Hyatt House Sterling/Dulles Airport exceeded my expectations and did a remarkable job recognizing and treating World of Hyatt Globalist members. The convenient location, spacious room, strong amenities, and genuinely helpful staff made this a particularly enjoyable stay. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, pet-friendly hotel near IAD.

Great Hotel, rooms are clean and comfortable
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt House Sterling/Dulles Airport-North. We were there for a softball tournament. We had a ton of kids with us and the staff was amazing with them! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the spacious room had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always willing to help with a smile.

The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety of options each morning for the kids before their games. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, quiet atmosphere, and overall attention to detail throughout the property.

We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Sterling area!
