The decor and standard of the hotel was lovely, the free parking was also a bonus.
The location was a bit away from everything, check in was 3pm which I feel is quite late for the amount you pay for the room, then our room wasn’t ready to almost 4pm and we were supposed to be at a concert for 3:30pm so the room not being ready at check in time made us very late and in the morning the house keeping were knocking on our door wanting us out so they could clean our room from 9am and check out wasn’t until 11am. They knocked 3 different times before we finally just gave in and checked out. We paid £280 per room and had two rooms - £560 and only able to actually relax in our rooms from 4pm to 9am (17 hours) is really quite extortionate.
Top of the line. Spacious, clean, modern, with all the amenities needed. A gem.

Dakota is a beautiful hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Super comfy bed, air con, fridge, coffee machine. The supermarket is conveniently located next to the hotel.
We only stayed 1 night and had an evening event so wasn't able to sample the restaurant but sure that too would meet the same standards as the hotel itself.
Sehr schick und neu, viel gut geschultes Personal. Die Auswahl an zubereitetem Frühstück war qualitativ sehr hochwertig, die Eggs Benedict zum Beispiel äußerst lecker.
Das Hotel liegt ein bisschen im Niemandsland, zu Fuß schwer erreichbar. Dafür fährt aber direkt vor dem Haus ein Bus in 40‘ nach Edinburgh Waverley
