Location was as expected
Extremely small, cramped room - very expensive. Breakfast not included. No air conditioning, you had to set up a fan which was available in the closet. No fridge in the room. The underground parking wouldn’t fit our truck so had to park on the street at the back of the hotel. The front desk staff had difficulty with the POS machines to get them working. We were given bus passes for public transport throughout Banff.
Food was a Chili’s restaurant at the hotel - very expensive. Supper meal was not good. The ribs were extremely fatty so tasted terrible and the pasta dish was served cold and needed to be reheated, likely microwaved. However the ribs were removed from the bill and the pasta was discontinued 25%. Our waiter was very good and tried his best to remedy the situation. Breakfast was very good also expensive, but very tasty. Our waitress was very personable and attentive.
We expected everything to be expensive considering it was in a national park. Our 2-queen bed room was over $700 for 1 night and the only extra amenity was access to a large hot tub in the basement of the hotel.

There was a power outage whilst we were there and there was zero assistance or information from the staff. We simply had to sit there in complete darkness losing lights and with no heating. That should have been handled differently
