I would stay at legacy again and recommend it to all my friends and family.
Pros:

Location was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very nice. Bilal from reservations was very helpful with some changes to our booking we had to make.

Cons:

The biggest advantage of the Legacy Ottoman Hotel is its location. It's within walking distance of all the main sights in Sultanahmet, making it very convenient for sightseeing.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the hotel itself did not live up to the photos online. As soon as you step out of the lift onto the room floors, you're greeted by old, stained and worn carpets, which gives a poor first impression.
Our room was spacious, but it was in a tired condition. The furniture was old and chipped, the carpets smelled of stale cigarette smoke and, in some areas, even seemed mouldy. The bathroom was no better, with blocked sinks and toilets and showers that were not particularly clean.
The service was also disappointing. We called reception at least five or six times over 24 hours to request an iron, and each time we were told it was "on the way." When one finally arrived, it was falling apart and had been crudely riveted together.
Breakfast was average at best. Staff took egg orders but often failed to bring them at all.
To the hotel's credit, we did meet with the Customer Relations Manager and explained all of these issues. They listened to our concerns, but the overall experience fell far short of what we'd expected from a hotel of this reputation.

Very disappointed stay, old, poorly maintained and complete different from the pictures

Cons:

Unfortunately, this hotel was nothing like the pictures shown on Booking.com. The hotel and room were old and poorly maintained, with short curtains and an old, uncomfortable bed.
The bathroom was dirty and had visible rust, and there were no basic vanity/toiletry items provided. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, and the staff were not friendly or helpful.
What made things worse was our departure. We were told that the taxi could not enter, so we had to carry our very heavy luggage all the way out to the road ourselves.
There was also no phone in the room to contact reception.

Overall, I feel that the pictures on Booking.com are very misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the hotel. This experience has seriously affected my trust in the recommendations and photos on Booking.com. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.
