The walk around the grounds and excellent breakfast 🍳🥞. Nice comfortable 🛏️ 😴😴😴😴
More benches to sit in the sun in the late evening
Location was fantastic.
Grounds were beautiful
My room was tidy but it wasn’t clean there was thick dust on the tv and the base of the table lamp and cobwebs on the ceiling of the bathroom.
The pool was closed whilst I was there
I was in the new accommodation, which pleasant , well laid out and nice with a view out to the park, trees and fields
Nothing
Location.
Front of house staff were not inviting and locked out of our room on second night.
Great location, room comfortable with good free wifi. Excellent gym and swimming pool also. Food was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful.
Only small issue was lack of shelving /storage in the bathroom. Only small issue would have been an earlier breakfast opening time, possibly 6.30 would have helped as we had an early appointment that meant the 7.00 opening caused us to rush a little. But overall an excellent stay.
We stayed at the Towers for a special wedding anniversary and the whole experience was delightful. We had an e-mail a few days before check in asking if we wanted to upgrade to a suite at a special rate (subject to availability). As we stayed on Sunday and Monday nights, the hotel was quieter and we were able to secure a suite. They even left a small gift because we were celebrating. The building is amazing, especially the chapel and cloisters. There is a lake and lots of nearby walks. The main facilities are are two-minute walk. Breakfast was very varied (loved the lemon ginger shorts) and the food otherwise was good. Without exception, every member of staff was friendly and helpful.
Great Breakfast, loverly area and location, lots of parking, nice bar and restaurant, nice staff.
The image of the hotel/estate is a bit of a con, the actual hotel is a horrible 60's red brick with very dated rooms in a major need of a refresh, marks and damage on walls, worn out carpet, shower leaked out of the tray and flooded the floor, mould in the corner selants and tiles, very old and dated in general. we pulled up at the building that is pictured in the advert and where told its private and not for guests, then spent 10 minutes looking for the actual hotel on the grounds which was a very ugly old dated building. If they advertised that building im sure they would not be able to charge those prices! its naughty really, misleading and faulse advertising...
We celebrated our 2nd year anniversary here, now with our little one and they made the effort to give us a greeting card and some goodies. We are grateful.
None
Peaceful location, particularly our room in the court
The large unattached mirror was slightly worrying.
Location
1 unable to drive to reception to drop bags.
2 path from parking to reception problem for those with limited. mobility
3 bathroom had very limited shelf space.
Location great
Breakfast was like being at school dinners. No choice other than a full english fry up. There was cereal and fruit but I prefer just a couple of poached eggs or eggs benedict. Just felt rushed and busy due to a wedding and other group events. Don't get me wrong I understand you need to cater for busy events but a buffet breakfast is good but you should perhaps offer an alternative if you can
I last stayed at Horsley Estate in 2023 and couldn't believe how much the hotel had improved. The bar, dining room and landscaping are all done to a very high standard. Hard to fault the valve for money, our small double had an external decking area, the breakfast selection was extensive, there is free tea, coffee and biscuits available across the hotel, plus free parking and a pool. A special mention for the staff who are very attentive.Highly recommended hotel for exploring the Surrey Hills..
Nice location open fields around hotel and the very stylish old part.
Was a very good breakfast with friendly staff working in this area.
We booked a superior room, not sure that’s what we got.
Room was difficult to find in a courtyard area way off the reception area.
Cramped room, small window, smaller bed than expected, dated, small offset tv that had a poor reception
Bathroom was not very clean, a difficult to get into shower over bath.
Everything was lovely
