Breakfast was excellent. Great choice. Exceptional value.
We requested an earlier check in and the reception was not helpful with this.
Room was tight....
Room was not spacious at all for a double room.
Excellent location for accessing Surrey Hills, RHS Wisley, London and the wider south East counties.
Having a pool available with good opening times was fab, too.
Room was a good size and aircon very much appreciated given the hot temperatures.
Refreshment stations were excellent to have good coffee, varied teas etc on tap.
We were there for 6 nights and on 3 afternoons we returned around 3:30pm, after a busy morning and early afternoon, to find that our room had not yet been serviced - which was a bit of a nuisance. However, housekeeping did an excellent job, the room was always clean and tidy etc.
Beautiful
The property is in a really lovely location.
The grounds and manor are stunning.
The room was extremely basic, and cleanliness could certainly be improved.
Easy check in and out.
Rooms could do with an upgrade. No sockets by the bed and tv on a weird angle to the bed, off to the side on a desk so hard to watch.
No air con and a tiny opening window made the heatwave quite uncomfortable.
Bathroom felt old. The hotel is essentially like a conference hotel, no sign of the beautiful stately home in the picture!
Beautiful setting & friendly enough staff.
Although still a good place for a couple of nights not for any longer the rooms are very tired…if the rooms are that size they really do need to be fitted out with everything in a usable place….small offset window….plugs for things like a kettle not in a safe usable place(on the floor in walkway) ….the tv not in a usable place & takes up a lot is space on dressing table(we had no remote & no instructions so could only turn on/off)which Also made trying to use the plugs (kettle, hairdryer, straightener etc) very difficult bathroom was ok but again tired…the floor however is heavily stained with dirt & unclean fluids….the ventilation is not enough & needed to have door open whilst showering & no toilet brush leaving no choice to either leave it or put hand down toilet to clean. Though the decoration is ok the colour isn’t at all pleasant…it might hide a multitude of sins but brighter is better & finally the lighting quality is poor & poorly placed & makes it very difficult to apply makeup in a true light & split bathroom mirrors without any kind of shelving area was difficult. The dinning area is very loud & canteen like not what you would expect for a hotel boasting the surroundings & the outdoor seating area where rooms back on to had lights but not used & requested to move to other outdoor seating area which is enclosed & uninviting(so we went to our rooms) & there is very little considering the size of the grounds.
All good, except the shower and bathroom were small
Mirror were too high, need more shelves in the bathroom, mattress were very very bad, need new one.
Breakfast choices were endless and freshly cooked. Coffee machines available all day as is free water . Beautiful grounds and lovely walks ….
Very peaceful for a relaxing few days..
The only downside was the fact that it isn’t near any big shops or supermarkets if that’s what you like.
Beautiful location, friendly staff, great facilities and a really good breakfast. Also, very dog friendly (for a fee).
Rooms in the training centre were tiny and only had two plug sockets - take a multi-socket adaptor.
The rooms were all dirty and stained, we had a number of rooms and all were extremly disappointing, not like any other de vere, we would not recommend and never stay here again, it was horrible. the hotel is great, the rooms horrible.
