The room was too hot and we couldn’t sleep
Friendly staff
Noisy room, got no sleep! Evening meal lukewarm. Breakfast lukewarm. Room desperately in need of updating.
The premises were just as expected - and the wider estate excellent. Well away from road, traffic noise etc. Informal dinner arrangements from the bar were good for a couple of nights, and breakfasts were great too. Location was excellent for our planned visit to RHS Wisley
The handbasin in the bathroom was tiny. Bedroom was quite stuffy and couldn't be easily ventilated by the relatively small opening window - especially once curtains were closed (necessary as room was overlooked by path from carpark to Reception). A fan was provided which made things more tolerable. We were fortunate to be staying away from the peak of the summer heat-waves, though to be fair any other accommodation in the area would likely have been the same.

The front receptionist was so nice and welcoming. Location great for some walking with the dog.
We were in dog friendly room and it smelt of wet dog a lot. Carpets should probably go and be replaced with hard floor.
The rooms are probably just kept for dogs and generally a bit run down.
Could use a few pounds being spent to raise it again.

The hotel was in a convenient location- easy to reach the train station with close proximity to London etc. Other facilities like pubs and shops were a near walk/ drive too!
Compared to the advertisement, the hotel was slightly more run down in places and some rooms were outdated. We also experienced a couple of dirty towels and whilst the pool was a good facility, could also do with higher levels of cleaning and modernisation.
