Important information:

The Suncliff Hotel has a heated indoor pool, sauna and mini gym on site for guests to use free of charge during their stay.

If dinner is not requested upon booking then there will be an extra charge in addition to the stated amount.

Please note that onsite parking is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis and chargeable at £12.00 per car per night. Street parking on the seafront is available via pay and display machines. It is not possible to reserve parking prior to arrival.

Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by Central Reservations. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.

For all payments made and booking types the card holder must be present on check in and the same card must be presented for a security swipe via chip and pin on arrival, failure to provide the same card will result in the payment being refunded to the original card and an alternative payment method requested before check in will be permitted. The property reserves the right to charge bookings in full up to 48 hours prior to arrival during weekends and peak times regardless of reservation policies.

Please note only one small dog (under 10 Kg) is allowed per room, at an extra fee of GBP 20 per night. Please note dogs are not allowed in the common areas, with the exception of guide dogs. Please note that cats or any other type of pets cannot be accommodated at this property. Dogs are not permitted in our Ocean Front Terrace Rooms.

At least one guest per room must be over 18 years of age, minors are not permitted in their own accommodations without prior consent of the hotel.

Please ensure the correct occupancies are selected on booking, failure to do so may result in your check in being refused. Identification will be required for age verification purposes.

All bookings of 6 or more rooms booked together will be treated as group bookings as per Oceana Hotels’ policy. Group bookings will be contacted within 7 days of making the reservation and will be treated as advance purchase bookings. The full nonrefundable payment will be required within 7 days of the reservation being made, no cancelations, modifications or refunds will be permitted for any group bookings. These group terms and conditions override any rate policy that has been booked. In case of payments not received within 7 days of the booking being made, the Hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking without any liability or further communication.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Pros:

Friendliness of staff, they were so helpful and lovely people, facilities are excellent and the hotel well presented and looks good. The breakfasts are very nice, its a buffet so you can have how much you like and its all very tasty and good..

Cons:

The only reason i didnt put excellent on cleanliness was because the underneath of my top sheet did have a dirty mark on it before i used the bed but im very sure that sheets were washed just that the mark obviously hadnt come out as it needed washing on a higher temperature. Also the bed mattresses were a little hard for our liking, in particular my daugher woke up half a dozen times every night as she couldnt get comfortable, it didnt bother me so much but i also found the mattress a little too firm for my liking. Its just our personal preferences though, im sure other people like a firm mattress.

Pros:

The view was good. The staff seemed nice.

Cons:

No proper shower in the room, the mattress on the bed felt old and tired.
Everything about the hotel seemed tired. For the top of the range room with sea view, the balcony definitely was not worth £157 for one night, maybe worth £80 a night.

Fun, sun and a great swim!
Pros:

We loved the indoor pool, and the ability to use the outdoor heated pool at the sister hotel next door. The rooms accommodated us well and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

I loved the welcoming atmosphere and the excellent customer service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary drink on arrival and a room upgrade to a beautiful sea view room. The birthday card was such a thoughtful personal touch. The kitchen staff were also lovely and always made our eggs exactly how we liked them — well done!

Cons:

The room was quite warm, especially at night. However, a small fan was provided, which was helpful and appreciated.

Being woken at 3.30 am by a humming noise only to be told it was the sauna and it'll be on and off for an hour then being told I could go to another room that had air con so a better room ? Why was nt I given this in first place as your staff knew this noise would happen every morning? Also cold swimming pool broken seating in sauna .noone around to check out
