Had a wonderful overnight stay in Tracy's hotel Waterford. The staff were so helpful,could not fault this hotel in any way.
Excellent location , right on the quay , close to the bus and train station and only 100 meters from start/finish of the waterford greenway. The breakfast was good with lots of choice and the staff in the breakfast room were excellent. We had a beautiful room on the fourth floor with a balcony , our bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless.
As we arrived late in the evening it would have been nice if a couple of bottles of water were left in our room as many hotels do now - the cost to the hotel would be minimal and many guests would appreciate the gesture . The music in the bar was far too loud as it was in every pub we visited during our stay in waterford .
Location is amazing, great value for money and very friendly staff. Live music every night in hotel pub.
Dinner in the hotel pub was most certainly reheated and breakfast was ok. Walls are paper thin.

Not much great value
Good sized room/bathroom, with shower gels, handwash. hairdryer, ironing board, iron, tea/coffee facilities and fan all available. There was a plug right by the mirror which was sitting just above the table with an accompanying chair. This may sound like a strange thing to like but it's a lot rarer than I've experienced, so credit were its due.
The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, also took a while to heat up. At one stage I thought I was having a cold shower. It still wasn't hot, more lukewarm. Alot of noise outside, room 330 (although outside of hotel control). All else was good.
Everyone was so friendly and people were lovely x
The room we stayed in was part of the new building number 4 it was very long getting to the room as I have copd and psoriatic arthritis so definitely will stay again but want a closer to reception x

Looking forward to my next trip
We always enjoy our stay in Treacys but the one thing that really needs saying is that the bar staff are not at all helpful. I was up at the bar to order food and drinks and the barman served everyone before me. This has happened everytime we come here which is very often. I was not the only person that noticed this. So we went to another hotel for dinner. It was bad that we had to go somewhere else to eat.
