Bad changing rooms at pool
Pros:

All great except for dirty, unmaintained changing rooms at pool. This is a traditional, old world hotel

Pros:

Very convenient location, walking distance from city centre and Train Station. Lovely staff. Good swimming-pool.

Cons:

No pressure in the shower. Possibly, because I was on the 3rd floor.

Traceys best place
Pros:

The tea is free, and they have an indoor swimming pool and comfy bed and a TV. So there was its good food, but it was expensive.. and they have a good bathroom, great condition. So they have good breakfast. Has good TV on the wall. It was a really nice place to stay and I had fun in the swimming pool and it’s 5 foot deep and 1.3 m and 1.2 m. - Noah and Lara 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♂️

Needs uplift
Pros:

I thought the bar looked drab.
The room with the sofas uneccessary. And get rid of the sports pool area as it looks dingy and doesn't reflect well in my opinion. You might consider a coffee shop type environment looking out onto the keys.

Cons:

Was supposed to be a double bed instead was 2 singles and the sheets were two small only went down one side of each bed so kept coming off you during the night

OVER HEATED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros:

I liked how all the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The fact we stayed in the hotel when there was a heat wave across the country, and there was no water bottles in our room, no fan, no air-con. Our window barely opened at all. We were awake all night, didn't sleep a wink. I eventually, I managed to get a glass of water during the night off the security guard. I was let down by the lack of toiletries in the room. Plus, when I took down a towel, a dark thick a pubic hair fell to the ground.

Pros:

Location

Cons:

Bar service was terrible, no concept of serving the person waiting the longest, only the person nearest them. No noise insulation between bedrooms.

Cheap and very basic.
Pros:

Room basic but clean. Breakfast good standard.

Cons:

Very old decor, poor service in bar, had to go to another hotel to buy my evening meal. Lifts tiny. Whole building needs a massive revamp.

Disappointed
Pros:

Dear Tracey’s Hotel,

I am writing regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, I am not very happy with the bedroom we paid for.

When we arrived, we noticed mould in the corner of the room, the walls were cracked, and the room did not look like the images shown when booking. In the bathroom, there was also something broken beside the sink.

I would like to mention that the staff were very lovely and polite during our stay, and I appreciate that. However, as this was my first time booking with Tracey’s, I was disappointed with the condition of the room.

I have photos of the issues and would be happy to send them if needed. I would appreciate if you could look into this matter and consider a refund or some form of compensation.

Kind regards,
Taylor coady

Very good Hotel.
Pros:

We had a very good two nights stay with evening meal and bed & breakfast in Treacy's Hotel Waterford situated on the river front. Check in was quick with no delay. The receptionist was very polite and informative. The double room with a river view was very nice with in room tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel restaurant had an excellent and varied evening menu. The evening meal and service were the best we have had for a long time. The food was hot and fresh and plenty on the plate. The bar/lounge was old Irish style with a good selection of drinks served with a smile from the very competent bar staff. The bar also had live music on both nights we were there. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and will be back very soon.
