Would stay again
Pros:

The common areas were great. Plenty of places to hang out. My kids enjoyed the arcade and pool. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice and actually had the correct number of towels for our family (this never happens, even when I request them in advance). Staff were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options.

Cons:

The whirlpool had some residue on top in the bubbles. The extra pillows were stored in plastic and they did not smell good. The sofa bed was not supportive and you could feel the bars.

Clean, friendly with a solid breakfast.
Pros:

The Country Inn Grand Rapids East is always very clean, above average every time. Included breakfast is available right up until the end of service, no "we ran out of that" here. Breakfast until 10:30am on weekends and noon check-out are also things I like when traveling on the weekend. Staff are attentive and efficient. It's just a well-run hotel.

Enjoyable
Pros:

Nice Hotel! Clean, game room, war memorial artifacts, breakfast, pool, spa, gym ❗️only complaint is they should invest in air fresheners throughout the hotel because it smells mildewed, even when you turn the a/c or heat on it smells bad. Also the tub seems very dangerous for kids, handicapp, & Elderly, Other than that we enjoyed our stay ♥️

Great stay for that time away from it all
Pros:

I like all of the amenities that they have, the pricing is worth the stay, a good breakfast, the room has everything I need for my stay. Overall a great stay.

Cons:

It was unfortunate that they didn't have the FOX station while the world cup was on. The Wifi was weak in the room where the desk was (little to no bars).

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The property and our room were very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good. We recommend this hotel!

Really good place to stay. This is our go-to choice in Grand Rapids.
Pros:

The breakfast room was very well done. The tables clean and available. The layout of the facility as good.

Cons:

The food flavor was just so-so. Eatable for sure, but nothing special. I’d have preferred to eat at a nice breakfast cafe but alas when one has a pre-paid for “free” breakfast at the hotel it’s hard to pass up. But sadly that situation reduced my overall pleasure in the trip.

A great location for a good price with clean rooms and a warm pool!
Pros:

The indoor pool was warm, the location is great (about 8 minutes down the road to a nice playground, Meijer, Aldi, etc.), and everything was clean. The breakfast area was spacious, with simple foods, but many options.
