I liked WHERE the Citrus is situated
On the seafront.
Minutes from town Centre.
I asked for a Seaview , and got one.

Staff were Nice.

Decent price for a decent sleep.
Pros:

The property was very convenient. Close to the beach, the pier, and the high street. Friendly and kind staff members.

Cons:

Some areas of the room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. There was a visible thick layer of dust behind/under the bunkbed and food wrappers.

Das Hotel hat seine besseren Tage hinter sich.
Pros:

Die Lage am Strand und die Nähe zum Küstenwege.

Cons:

Der schlechte Zustand des Hotels. Die Teppiche im ganzen Hotel waren verdeckt. Die Wände waren an vielen Stellen fleckig. Der Aufzug seit längerem defekt. Das Zimmer und das Treppenhaus waren nicht gesaugt. Die Fenster waren dreckig. Es fehlte eine Toilettenbürste.
Das Frühstück hatte nur eine geringe Auswahl und man musste das Personal darauf aufmerksam machen, dass Wurst, Käse etc. aufgebraucht waren.
Das Personal war sehr höflich, aber überfordert, da zu wenig Personal vorhanden war.

Pros:

The room was very basic, which was fine for the one night that we stayed.

Cons:

A few to many stairs for me, but I didn't make my needs very clear.
Our dog had not been added to the booking by the booking company.
The shower had a bit of a leak and I should have asked for a mat as the shower floor was quite slippery.

The room cleaning wasn't very good; there were holes in the walls in places, and mold in the corners, on the ceiling, and in the bathroom

Cons:

Das Zimmer war nicht mit den Bildern zu vergleichen. Dreckige Wände und Teppiche. Es wurde zuvor im Zimmer geraucht und der Gestank einfach nur mit Raumspray übersprüht. Da man die Fenster kaum öffnen konnte, war es sehr unangenehm. Der Fahrstuhl funktionierte nicht, sodass wir unser Gepäck bis in den 3. Stock schleppen mussten. Bei unserer Ankunft war für circa 15 min kein Personal am der Rezeption oder auffindbar, sodass wir nicht einchecken konnten. Beim Frühstück hat die Kaffeemaschine nicht funktioniert. Insgesamt ein sehr unangenehmer Aufenthalt.
