Great location near city Centre and Woolies, good size apartment with washing machine, dryer, big fridge and well equipped kitchen.

The location was quiet but only a few
minutes drive to the CBD. The room was clean and tidy on arrival and the beds, although on the firm side gave a great
nights sleep with one firm and one soft pillow per person. The couch was so comfortable. Perfect for a night in watching a movie on the widescreen smart TV. A fully self contained kitchen and plenty of storage for suitcases and bags. An ironing board and iron provided as well as a clothes horse. Off street secure parking behind an automated gate made it safe for early and late entry. Beautiful breeze through the balcony windows and door. We had no need for the aircon.Surrounded by palm trees.If you are lucky, the Cascade Gardens gorgeous ragdoll cat will meet you at the door on arrival. Overall a lovely stay and will definitely return.

Cons:

The wine glasses were plastic. We purchased our own wine glasses. The frying pan had thick black crust that had burned through the non stick layer. It needs replacing. Four flights of stairs to our room. Difficult lifting heavy suitcases up the stairs but we are young so we managed.There is no lift.

We enjoyed our stay in Cairns. It wouldn't take much to spruce up the accommodation.

The location was fine. A manageable walking distance from the CBD.

Cons:

The kitchen tap was broken. The couch was all stained. The bathroom needed an upgrade. Needed a lift to go upstairs with suitcases.

Good location easy walk into town and waterfront .Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped

A studio apartment was too small for 5 days as there was no where to hang clothes so had to live out of our suitcases I know some of the rooms have been updated but ours wasn’t and bathroom was old. The room and pool definitely looked a lot better in the photos

Fabulous location with super clean rooms and a safe, homely feel.
Pros:

Fantastic location, super clean rooms with great kitchen setup and a lovely pool. The property is older but well maintained for its age and presents with a lovely, homely and happy feel. An extra blanket or two would have been good and a towel change (6 night stay) would be warranted but no problems for us. We also loved Bruiser the cool cat and had plenty of chats! Thankyou, really enjoyed our stay at Cascade Gardens and Cairns.

Cons:

The old style door keys were a bit painful to use and cart around (but not a big deal!).

Pros:

The room itself was lovely and we appreciated all the appliances. Bed was comfy. Great location and views! Such a cute and friendly cat in the reception!

Cons:

However the stairwell and hallways were a little run down. Small inconvenience to note was that we had to manually connect the TV in the bedroom to WiFi as it kept cutting itself out after each time we'd use it.
