Just left a wedding there. Absolutely Stunning place in incredibly well kept grounds. Staff were super friendly too.

What can I say about our visit to Cabra Castle, it was truly, truly exceptional and surpassed my wildest dreams. We booked here for my birthday treat on a 7 day trip around Southern Ireland from Wales following the route we took 26 yrs ago for our honeymoon, although we didn’t quite come up as far as Cabra Castle. I do wonder what it would have been like back then.
Cabra Castle certainly has the wow factor, set in a beautiful, charming location; just driving down towards the castle was utterly stunning, everywhere you look there is something to see and so many nooks and crannies. The grounds are great for walking around and we certainly made the most of every opportunity to get out and explore, we even bumped into the owner who was so nice and he introduced us to the two famous Irish wolfhounds who were just off duty, they were delightful. The hotel really does offer a memorable experience with its warm and professional staff, as soon as we walked through into the main foyer and reception we were made to feel very special.
We were staying in rm 52 which was in the courtyard and it was so nice to be able to park right outside the room. I couldn’t believe it when I opened the door and saw our room, it was hugely spacious, uniquely decorated in plush tweeds with a huge four poster bed and a beautiful free standing bath. Everything had such attention to detail and spotlessly clean, pure luxury in every aspect. I’d been left a birthday card and chocolates which was such a lovely touch.
We’d booked afternoon tea for a birthday treat and went inside the castle to the restaurant and everywhere we walked was in such ornate splendour, I couldn’t believe it, I felt very grand. The tables were set beautifully with rich linen tables clothes and napkins and sparkling silver everywhere. We were looked after impeccably and the food was sublime, so much of it we had to ask for a box to take away with us. This was truly a magical experience and we hope to come back.

Staff were amazing!!!! So friendly. Every member of staff I passed greeted me. Extremely helpful.

Breakfast was first class.

The venue was sublime best wedding ive ever attended. Not 1 thing could be faulted really well done

It's a proper castle! Rooms are big, beds are comfy.

I organised this stay for my parents to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to help me coordinate everything from Sydney, Australia. I can’t thank them enough for making the entire booking process seamless from beginning to end. To top it all off, my parents arrived to find a thoughtful birthday card and a bottle of wine waiting in their room. It was such a lovely touch and made the occasion even more special. Highly recommend! 🍷✨

Once in a lifetime opportunity!

My wife and myself could not believe how beautiful the castle and the grounds were i am a great believer in first impressions and Cabra castle was excellent.

The rooms were truly luxurious and the building itself was evocative of a bygone era.

Notte in un castello da favola!! Non mi era mai capitato di dormire in un vero castello e l'esperienza ci è piaciuta tantissimo. Location per matrimoni ( infatti al nostro arrivo si stava celebrando il rinfresco di un matrimonio). Location da sogno, davvero consigliata. Ristorante di livello con ampia scelta sia di cibo che di vino. Ce' anche un bar dove poter cenare ma noi lo abbiamo utilizzato per fare un aperitivo pre cena. Il parco intorno è davvero magnifico cosi come perdersi per le svariate stanze del castello. Esperienza indimenticabile che consiglio a tutti

I stay here often it is gorgeous castle and Everything about it was amazing, the staff, the food Everything.

It was gorgeous, and full of eye candy!
The room that we had was in the court, and it was gorgeous too! The food was amazing, we had lunch dinner and breakfast there, and all three experiences were wonderful. Not only was the food great, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
