Breakfast was great, kids loved the swimming pool, it was warm unlike other reviews. Enjoyed apartment-like suite. Kitchenette was great, saved money on food this way.
The pull out couch is dated, basically all spring no fluff. Tried the cot, it was the same. Had to purchase an air mattress for kids to sleep comfortably.
The space and having a kitchen and refrigerator. The staff were very accommodating.
The furniture is scratchy against your skin. Both the kitchen table chairs and the couches. Thank kitchen was not very well equipped. I had to request pots and frying pan, The fridge door opens in the wrong direction. Makes it a little tough to get things in and out!
Breakfast, the gym, location
The layout/design of the bedroom - the TV and dresser was on the side - couch and bed was not facing the TV. Many components of the hotel showed wear and poor upkeep.
Several cars, including ours, had their car windows smashed in the parking lot overnight. This happened to the other hotels in the same vicinity and it was very upsetting. the hotel is not responsible and have zero cameras outside the building. It cost us $500 to replace one passenger side window. Beware of this nonsense. The OPP station is across the road and they do nothing at all to stop this from happening.
The bathroom is always smelly, and the sofa bed is hard and old
It was great staying, staff was great
2 room suite with kitchen. Very nice and roomy. Had a fireplace but wasn’t used. Pillows, Mattress and blankets great. Breakfast was just ok - bacon was not crispy and looked under cooked.
I needed to use the washer/dryer but they aren’t setup for credit cards. They only take Canada coins. Front desk could not accept US money. Not a deal breaker but a credit card could work for all.

Overall parts of the hotel and furnishings are showing their age. The sofa bed had a fitted sheet that obviously hadn’t been cleaned in some time (stains and debris)
The check in was smooth and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
We didn't have any dislikes.
We had a little kitchenette to prep our meals for the day before we headed out for the day. Breakfast being included with our stay was convenient and lovely.
Our room was a bit dirty; with crumbs and sticky gummy bears everywhere.
The complementary cookies were stale and the prices for items in their little shop were overly expensive.
It was a great experience staying at Homewood, complimentary breakfast with basketball court.
The continental breakfast is not good.
Quiet at night, comfortable bed and pillows, kitchen facilities was a bonus, breakfast had variety, food was tasty, lots of parking, building was clean. Friendly staff, easy on off highway, close to everything.
No towels in pool area, asked at desk, none arrived within an hour, so we left pool.
